GG Portland. It seems my offense is still unconcerned with the whole idea of winning, but D and ST still want it. That huge run for a score was a fluke, I'm sure. However, a win is a win and I'll take it.

Hosting DVY who we are facing for the 6th time in the past 4 seasons and nto much has changed.

4 consecutive punts to start as we are committed to clouds of dust adn our defense is tackling well. Rookie RB Holzer broke one across mdifield for us but it was called back via penalty. and we ended up wit ha 1st and 30 setting up nice field possession for DVY. We knock Johnny Shannon out of hte game and DVY has their one big play called back via penalty but recover nicely to string together some intermediate gaisn and go up 6 after a missed XP.

Our own WR1A gets dinged up and then we throw an arm punt on a dragon just to stay on brand. ALexander is heating up in his pass rush but a defenseive penalty bails DVY out and they get close enough to tack on 3 points. DVy bails us out on a failed 3rd down attempt and we get her done before Holzer breaks another big run to have us threatening and Woodard does just enough to find TE3 Morris for a TD. A poor DVY punt sets us up nicely but goddang the sack of bones that was once Jim Tench derails our efforts at midfield. DVY goes ultra conservative during their 4 mintue drill and we get it back and connect with Crabtree on 2 deep passes to put us up 5 goign into the half.

Happy with the score but woudl like to see mroe consistency on O with our run gam every boom-bust. Our pass D has been excellent so far and we will see if that can hold. Teams have a combined 16 penalties for 125 yards nwo and that doesn't even do it justice with all the gains that have been called back.

Move TE Garrisson breaks away from teh D to get us into FG range but our ground game is not able to do its job so we are lucky to get just the 3 points. DVy is still strugglign with Alexander off the edge but they pin us deep. Soem nice work from Woodard to keep us moving and TE Garrisson breaks another oen for paydirt...but it is called back, only to have us get right back on track with great balance to put us up 15. DVY's run game also gets on track and they get to the endzoen but miss another XP so remain down 9.

Another deep compeltion for us is called back on penalty and we end up pinning them deep. DVy is stedily moving the ball now but they get cute and go drop, familiar, INT to end the threat. Woodard goes down with an injury while handing off to run out the clock which we do very well...

Loved this game from us, the penalties hurt both sides but we played our kinda ball with ncie production on the ground and an effective downfield passing game. A particularly nice effort in pass D princiapally from our pass rush.Johhny Shannon may have made a difference but we will never know.

I thought we woulda targeted Fence more but maybe Crabtree was jsut open all the dang time. Alexander put up a great line with 6 hurries and 3 knockdowns but only had the .5 sacks, in a contract year he wil need to to do more if he wants that $40MM per season.

It is just an abdominal strain for Woodard so nothing too drastic. Likely will try to play him anyways, last year we were sunk by borderline injuries to our stars and played it safe only to end up outside the playoffs.

You guys played well enough to win and McKnight just shit the bed (drops didn't help either), but my special teams unit deserved MVP. Penalties negated some good returns for us but blocking both a punt and FG try was huge - especially the blocked FG attempt at the end that set us up to steal the win.

I think Conley's wheels have finally fallen off as he can't catch a cold right now. I need to stop fiddling with my game plans so much and start sticking to something consistently.

Your Team came out of of the Box firing punches with 14 points in the 1st and I thought we were in for another shoot out. After the 1st our defense started getting to your QB and you guys stopped running Mueller so that took alot of pressure off our defense.

Your team is pretty good and when you get your running game going, you guys will be non stoppable.

Almost 17,000 on hand in El Paso to watch the Rockets upset 3-0 Atlanta..

Offense still struggling to be consistent.. But we’ve equaled our win total from last year, and are sitting ok at 3-1... I just posted in the trade block that I’d like to add a RB or WR..

Game was hard to watch, at times but happy to get the W..

Yeah started out looking Good. I wish I could get my Coach to run more. Had too many penalties erasing good gains, I thought we may have got it back together with 6 min in the 4th but the drive stalled and then the FG block pretty much sealed it up. Well on to next week. 0-3 on the road, got a couple home games coming up, hope to get to 3-3 before the div. game with SHR.

Gg, Spadaro88. Although we were outgained by 155 yards, we did a pretty good job slowing down QB England. Our defense got two interceptions, one of which was a pick 6. 2-2 after 4 games with a rookie QB is about the best I could expect. Hopefully Ortiz can grow some more in the coming weeks.
