GG BazookaJohnny

Overall a disappointing season for both of us but we seem to always put on an entertaining game. We had the ball last, down 2 points with 2 minutes to go. We got down to the opponent 35 yard line with 27 seconds left. Things were looking good for us to attempt a game winning field goal, but a stupid penalty backed us up 10 yards. Ended up having to settle for a hail mary attempt. Phillip Picton makes the catch but is tackled at the 3 yard line. Pretty symbolic of our season as a whole.

I'm excited for next year. I have a few tweaks in mind for the offense for them to really take off, we've got most of the pieces in place. Phillip Picton lead the league in receiving yards despite only playing 14 games. Defensively we're a mess but hopefully we can fix some issues in the draft

Essentially meaningless game for us in MIA, but would be nice to beat a rival and finish at .500

MIA got 2 early TDs on 3rd and long RZ passes but we kept up with a dominant ground game and some timely YAC. Things settled down in the 2nd with a couple punts and then we recoverd a fumble at midfield only to fumble it away ourselves allowing MIA to tack on a FG and get a 3 poit lead, nothing doing for either team in the final 5 inutes as we picked them off once they got into scoring range.

We coughed it up on a scramble at midfield, and MIA was rolling on the ground but coughed it up themselves inside our 10. A cople of punts had us switching fields and we ran it up to midfield but took a huge 16 yard sack on 3rd and short. We were up on the field position battle now after forcing a punt but coudln't do much other than pin them at their 3.

Didn't last long though as they hit the edge for a big gain and took the overhan in the field position battle. yet again we scrapped our way to midfield only to falter there and forced a punt to take over with 3:32 left down 3 needing to string together a coupel passes at least. We got our wish and then hit rookie TE Ames on a YAC play to go up 4 at the 2 minute warning. Hurry, hurry holf had them at 3rd and 20 but we had a 2nd personal foul on the day giving them new life at midfield and they hit a 9 route against the nickel personel,, goal line personnel that showed up out of nowhere in the most recent update, it is like man coverage but with the NB and MLB in deep zones instead of short.

MLB A.Navarre Deep Zone
WLB D.Brophy Man-to-Man
LCB D.Downs Man-to-Man
RCB A.Knopf Man-to-Man
NB K.Gerstler Deep Zone
SS C.Manning Man-to-Man
FS M.Dubord Man-to-Man

Another tight and verry winnable game for us. Just a smidge more of O talent and I feel like we will be a playoff team, not a contender necessarily but rock solid.

Best of luck to Denver and El Paso in the playoffs and pretty please konck out KC, HON and LVS ASAP as we want those picks to be worth something.

Whew! GG, Aamalin. It was closer than the score suggested as we scored two late TD's. I didn't want it to come down to having to win against Tennessee to get into the playoffs and that's what happened. I was resigned to my playoff hopes being spoiled by the hated Militia. Good luck next year! (and yes, that was a sweep this year) ;)

As it turns out, both the Deep South and the Great Lakes divisions get grudge matches as we face San Antonio and Cleveland faces KC for "Prove it" matches in those divisions. Congrats to all who made the playoffs!

gg Denver

Two defeats on the road to end the season, luckily we'd done enough to grab a Wildcard place.

First time El Paso has had a winning record under my GManagement (This is my 5th season) and the first time the franchise has made the post season since 2039 (15 years) Very tough wildcard game against Denver, hope we left a little left over - good luck Bal D'Locs in the upcoming game

GG Fargo.

Kwan seems to like it when the pressure is on 2 min drill on 3rd down he'll throw complete after 2 incomplete. We got lucky. Always good to win a division game.

Good luck to the playoff teams. El Paso put a good season together. Denver too.

We won with mostly backups in but Dillon got hurt which is unfortunate. Luckily it's not season ending and we have good depth at LB.

We wait to see if Vegas wins, if they do we play them for a 3rd time this year, otherwise we play the winner of El Paso/Denver.
