Well I guess we get a stud QB each year, kind of annoying to be honest. I liked it when QBs were rare.

This draft has a lot of weak sauce. It will be like hitting a 16 in blackjack. You know the odds are that you bust, but there are a couple of 5's left in the deck . . . but when will they be dealt?

Yea it seems to be hard-coded that there is 1 stud a year. They can still flop however though usually there is at least one warning sign that plenty can all claim they saw afterwards. Seems like over the longhaul there will always be 10-12 peak stud QBs in the league which seems to be 50-100% more than the real-life example.

And every few years you see 2-4 guys that look worthy of a top 15 pick but it would be more fun of course if it varied between 0-4 a bit more.

All that said a stud QB solves a lot of problems but I see plenty of teams do very well with a system QB and the going rate for a stud QB in this league will prolly hit $50MM pretty soon here.

I have done this with varying success in other leagues but this league seems to have so much more cap room than some of the other leagues that I have had a top 10 QB for a while now and have never worried about paying any of my other players. Frankly, I think it adds a level of realism that reflects the current situation of the NFL if you have to decide to pay a top tier QB or work with a lesser paid player and build talent elsewhere. Both can win so makes things interesting.

I can't wait to officially pick that stud. Interview and eye-test have been passed. Anybody willing to deal a TE/WR for my 2nd round picks?

Got my list more or less ready:
- 40 guys or so who would make my team better for sure
-another 30 who would be able to fill a role quite well or be solid as a starter

Hoping those 70 or so can last until pick 3.25 is pretty realistic given the differences in how we see/value things. With our draft capital we should be getting at least 3 players of each caliber but who knows if some of those tier 1 guys are sticking around we may try to trade up.

Agree with the sentiment that the depth of 1st round talent seems lacking particularly at the OL and EDGE positions, lucky for us that isn't what we are looking for.

90-fucking-2, that's why you got an A+.

I see his potential as 92, that's insanity.

Okay relax this is pre-TC. But yeah if he stays like that, that's why you got an A+

Well, the draft is always graded pre-TC so that has nothing to do with it.

Even if Bailey drops 10 points after camp and Pre-2, he's still an 80's-rated QB, which is insane.

The highest rated player I've ever seen in any FOF version was an 89 or 90 rated d-lineman, I don't recall if he was a DT or DE though. 90's rated is beyond a generational talent and is closer to a one-of-a-kind.

No pressure Vito, don't ruin this kid...

Yea Kelly was 90something at DL and our current C was also but at QB that is just insane, he even has size.
