[bd54e8e7]Atlantic City Phantoms 2016 (11-5):[/bd54e8e7]

Billy Joe Lareche steps in and will eventually be an improvement at right tackle. Rumors from camp however, say that he does not get along with the other starting tackle [player]Craig VanEck[/player], good thing they are on opposite ends of the line. This is another team that I thought [player]Vincent Sawyer[/player] would be a better fit then who they picked. [player]Nate Hanks[/player] is a major disappointment, but 3rd rounder [player]Shawn Strain[/player] looks like he can man that mike spot. Shawn excels in getting to the ball carrier, and that is pretty important in a middle linebacker. Picking up another starter in the 4th round, [player]Wesley Fiske[/player] should do very well at the tight end spot for Atlantic City. Even 5th rounder, [player]Carlos McNeil[/player], looks like a contributer, but he will never hold on to any interceptions.

[ud54e8e7]Grade: B+ ~ This one was tough to call, because the did so well despite throwing a 2nd rounder away.[/ud54e8e7]

[bd54e8e7]Hartford Attack 2016 (9-7):[/bd54e8e7]

[player]Ross Goodhart[/player] will come in and be an excellent pass blocker. Just what you look for in a left tackle. He should learn the finer points of run blocking and become decent at that. Another team that threw away its second round pick. [player]Jonathan Bowbliss[/player] looks very promising for a 6th rounder.

[ud54e8e7]Grade: C- ~ Only two picks in the first 3 rounds, and missed bad on one of those.[/ud54e8e7]

[bd54e8e7]Boston Red Devils 2016 (8-8 ):[/bd54e8e7]

[player]Cary Fox[/player] was the running back in this draft that was most prepared to come in and start from day one. It is starting to look like this whole division hates 2nd round picks, as [player]Emmanuel Kurzeja[/player] is a waste and will probably not get signed by Boston. Wide out [player]Benjamin Wallace[/player] teases with fairly precise routes and can gain yards after the catch, but he just drops too many passes to be a factor.

[ud54e8e7]Grade: D+ ~ An 8-8 team that needed a lot of help, only got one player out of a draft that they had a pick in each round.[/ud54e8e7]

[bd54e8e7]Brooklyn Tigers 2016 (4-12):[/bd54e8e7]

[player]Brent Caputo[/player] was the QB in this draft who could come in and start from day one. The Tiger's brass has said that they were not really interested in [player]Brian Kellett[/player] and needed a quarterback at this spot. They feel they got their man and it is much easier for a team to pick a QB and say lets give him time to perform, then pass over a QB for a highly talented defensive tackle. [player]Trent Carr[/player] should be an ok corner if he can stay healthy. They had a couple of decent picks later on who will get playing time because of the lack of quality players ahead of them on the depth chart.

[ud54e8e7]Grade: QB ~ I give it a B now, but when you draft a QB that high, it really is all about how he turns out which will take some time to really know.[/ud54e8e7]

[size=18d54e8e7]And that is it folks, hope you enjoyed it. I may have some time to comment on some comments left about the grades. No one knows their team better then their GM does, and no one knows your plans for the future, but I think some of you struck out hard. [/sized54e8e7]
