Huge 14-point swing at the end of the first half, we scored 17 points in 3 minutes, 17 seconds after being down 7-10. Barbieri completed 23 of 29 in what must be one of his best games in three seasons.

Nice win by Huntington Beach. We beat Boise 38-26 on a strong 4 TD game by Jesus Dennis (25/35 for 286; 4TD; 1INT).

The last of 2006's serious career-ending injuries are finally behind us. Center Robert Heflin is finally healed after sustaining a rupture of his Achilles tendon early last season. The Hunting Beach Capitalists thank Robert for his 5 years of service and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Ugh..

My two WR's getting their careers destroyed last season is going to haunt me for years to come...

And Durham again falls apart in the final 2 minutes against Detroit. Down 17-10, Michael Browning catches his first TD of the season to tie the game...but no! Kicker John Snell misses the extra point and Detroit wins again, 17-16.

I think I'm going to be sick...six interceptions for Dustin Hayes? WTF?

And Tulsa is on top of the division while Fargo is 0-3? What in the hell is going on in the Cavalry so far this year?

I had such high hopes for that game. . . and it ended up being decided by whose QB sucked worse.

Kuhn's line this year:

4TD, 10 INT.

Tough loss against Charleston for the Phantoms. Colin Sawyer had a good game and Lanny Hower did a nice job running the ball, but we just couldn't find the end zone.

This play may have been the straw that broke the camel's back tho:

1-10-CHT25 (11:35) ACI 8 Sawyer pass completed to 86 Parr for 13 yards.
Tackled by CHT 26 Lucas.
Ball was fumbled and recovered by CHT 31 Duncan for 88 yards and a touchdown!
Extra point by CHT 15 Alvarado was good.

Instead of having the possiblity of making it 17-13 with about 11 minutes left in the 4th, we ended up down 24-6. :(

Hopefully the bye week can get this team back on track and we can take out our frustrations on Cleveland.

We tried our best to get Shreveported, but New York wouldn't let us. We fumbled the ball twice inside our own red zone on our first punt return and our first kick return. Fortunately for the Pride, the D held the Knights to 2 FG's and Hartman and crew were able to put together some good drives and we were able to pull out the victory.

What a play, I think you're right about it swinging the game in our favor. I'm just glad you didn't take one of our many fumbles to the house :) Anyways it was a good game.

ARRRGH!!!

My QB throws 2 INTs late in the game when we were up.

I need to look at my gameplans this weekend.

The Flats go into the bye week 2-1.

Lorenzo with another PoG award, going 19-28 for 217 yards with 3 TD's. The rest of the offense looked amazingly mediocre. I'll take the win though.

Holy moly - a shutout of Fargo?! Damn, that hasn't happened since week 8 of 2003. I'll take it.

But that win came at a price: yet another of my OL have gone down with a long-term injury. This time, G Steven Odum is out for 40 weeks with an MCL. That makes three of last year's starting five offensive linemen to have suffered such injuries. Crapamundo.

Funny, I didn't find that in the least bit disturbing. :D

Congrats. It was almost a close game. We had cut your lead to 24-20 before you put us away.

It's going to be a long year in Boise, but we'll be back next year.

I have to admit, I was nervous watching you cut into that lead.

My two best linebackers are out, the already ragged secondary is getting beat up via injury and just plain horrid play. The turnovers that came so often last year haven't appeared. Hmm.

Things could be taking a turn for the worse in Seattle...

This was probably one of the closest games I've ever played. The two teams were so close together in almost every stat category. It's only fitting that a missed XP separates us. The game could have gone either way, and I'm sure you'll beat us someday...

Right now, 3 and 0 baby! Still undefeated!
