This wasn't the best year to trade away most of my picks. I can't believe how bad we are..... [i5dec845]there's always next year[/i5dec845].

theres a glimmer of hope in Sacramento. We may be 4-5, but we beat the division leader so now only 1 game out of first.

Congrats to Anchorage. It was a close one. We've now blown double digit leads in both of our losses.

Another pretty good game from Shannon...

Although we lost, right now I expect that.. but to see this development from Shannon is VERY promising... if I could just get him to stop fumbling...

GG 3ric.

Oh dear God.

RB Toothpick Lang goes over 1000 yards for the first time in his career, and promptly needs MCL Knee Surgery, Out for 38 Weeks.

He joins almost the rest of my key starters on IR.

Lordy Lordy what a good game... 27-24 Hartford gets revenge for the playoff loss. This game was all about defense, they picked off Hurst twice and we held Spearman under 70 yards.

I did believe Hurst was going to win it late in the forth quarter. He had the ball on his 25 with about a minute left and one timeout. We reach about the 50 and time runs out, Hartford wins and let me tell you their defense is fucking sweet...

We'll see you in the Playoff's Masked.. Great game...

Glad to escape Florida with a win before Wilma strikes... things was a little too close for comfort on the field as well, nice comeback in the fourth quarter there.

Damn we needed this win against a hated division rival.

Clarence Lincoln is showing flashes of brilliance but he continues to throw too many INTs. The veteran Jesus Dennis was benched for throwing too many INTs. Groan.

The kid opened the game with a 31 yd completion and then 2 plays later threw a 28 yarder en route to a TD. Down by 10 with just over 2 minutes to go he engineered this 4 play 82 yard TD drive...

1-10-HBE18 (02:27) HBE 2 Lincoln pass completed to 87 Perry for 7 yards.
2-03-HBE25 (02:07) HBE 2 Lincoln pass completed to 80 Coleman for 14 yards.
1-10-HBE39 (01:59) HBE 2 Lincoln pass completed to 80 Coleman for 46 yards (OOB).
1-10-SAC15 (01:48) HBE 2 Lincoln pass completed to 81 Pence for 15 yards and a touchdown!

Our running game was never able to get on track today.

I don't know WTF is wrong with this team this year...

Pretty much the same squad as last season, and yet, results are completely different...

I think the main difference is the coaching staff...I wish there was an option to fire a coach midseason...Down by 2 points with just 2 minutes to go, the coach decides to punt the damn ball on 4th and 5 on my 40 yd line...sad sad sad...

Congratulations to Fargo on a well played, close game. An 18-17 loss really hurts, especially when we'd taken a 17-9 lead early in the 4th quarter. This sequence just about drove me batshit, though:

[codebbf1145] 4-04-TUC05 (03:57) FAR 19 Griffith attempted a 22 yard field goal and succeeded.

Score: Fargo (ND) 12, Tucson 17. [/codebbf1145]

Okay, we stopped 'em at our own 5 and they opted for the FG with under 4 minutes to play. Cool - get the ball back and run out the clock as much as possible.

[codebbf1145] FAR 19 Griffith kicked off 55 yards from the FAR30.
TUC 85 Garcia returned the ball 19 yards to the TUC34. Tackled by FAR 21 Radke. [/codebbf1145]

Even better, decent field position.

[codebbf1145] Possession to Tucson.

1-10-TUC34 (03:44) TUC 4 Hogan pass completed to 80 Higginbotham for 10 yards.
Tackled by FAR 93 Soper.
[/codebbf1145]

WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, COACH? This is when you start running the ball, remember? Remember the game plan I gave to you? It's nice that you got 10 yards ona completed pass, but don't do that again, 'kay?

[codebbf1145] 1-10-TUC44 (02:58) TUC 4 Hogan pass completed to 81 Markey for 22 yards.
Tackled by FAR 40 Edwards, assisted by FAR 41 Campo.
Penalty: TUC - Offensive Holding. [/codebbf1145]

What did I just say? WHAT DID I JUST SAY?

You're dead coach. Dead.

[codebbf1145] 1-20-TUC34 (02:48) TUC 42 Holliday ran outside the right tackle for -2 yards.
Tackled by FAR 41 Campo, assisted by FAR 98 Weinstein.
FAR called time out.[/codebbf1145]

Oh great. Now that we're facing long yardage situations you decide to start running. Wonderful.

[codebbf1145] 2-22-TUC32 (02:41) TUC 4 Hogan pass fell incomplete, intended for 81 Markey.
FAR 94 McCune hurried the quarterback into a bad throw.

3-22-TUC32 (02:34) TUC 4 Hogan pass completed to 22 Bradley for 11 yards (OOB).
Tackled by FAR 25 Murch.
[/codebbf1145]

Great! An incompletion and then a completion for only half the yardage we need to get a first down. AND, as an added bonus, you asked the receiver to run a route that led him OOB and stopped the clock. Great coaching there, numbnut.

*sigh*

Wow!? I thought losing a starter for 6 weeks was bad, at least broken bones heal. It sounds like wearing your ass for a hat is incurable...

Maybe coach didn't want to run the ball because Daryl Bradley was tired. :smt064

Indeed. His prognosis is poor. *sigh*

Or were you talking about me?

I would've been thrilled if the coach had given the ball to a tired Bradley.

I guess his "Average" offensive play calling skill is simply making itself known. Still, this sequence, and several others I've seen like it this year, seem like examples of very sub-average play calling. And they fly straight in the face of the gameplans I've been giving him.

Stupid coach. Me hate you. :smt075
