if anybody needs a quality quarterback, Al DeNeff is quite available. he came off 2 rather spectacular seasons before signing on with long beach with the intent to become the starter. however, a training camp deal brought aaron henke to long beach and Al spent most of the season grooming young Ben McCormick. he's due 4 this year and 4 next in salary and seems to be quite willing to negotiate down after sitting out all last season.

so deneff did not generate much in the way of interest, presumably because of his age. would anyone be interested in mccormick? he saw first team action for the first time last season and acquitted himself, i would say, quite well. he tallied 3200+ yards in 11 starts (14 games total) and connecting for 22 TDs versus 13 INT. please let me know if you're interested.

also, if anyone is interested, walunas is available. in both of full seasons as a starter, walunas showed up for 89 KROs. converted 27% of those in '09 and 32% last year. pass blocking is NOT his strength but, in spite of pedestrian ratings, he "only" gave up 6 and 5 sacks in those seasons. he is red as both LG and RG and is a mentor at guard for those of you who have good young guards.
