[b05af2ae][u05af2ae]TAMPA BAY TORPEDOES MEDIA REPORT[/b05af2ae][/u05af2ae]
Tampa Bay, FL (AP): The Tampa Bay Torpedoes traveled to play the Tulsa Talons and lost by the final score of 21-20. Talons QB [player]Myron Dickenson[/player] was named MVP as he completed 20 of 26 passes (76.9%) for 165 yards with a TD. Offensively, the Torpedoes were very explosive as they recorded 460 total yards. The Torpedoes allowed 3 sacks. The Torpedoes scored 13 points on 3 trips to the Red Zone. The Torpedoes dominated the time of possession and set the pace of the game. Defensively, the Torpedoes limited the Talons passing game, but struggled against the run. The Torpedoes allowed 14 points on 2 trips to the Red Zone. The Torpedoes sit in last place of the AC Atlantic and there is almost no chance of the AC Playoffs now. The Torpedoes (3-8) travel to play the Boston Red Devils (3-8) next week and the two teams are playing for their pride. Can the Torpedoes find a way to win on the road to end a 4 game losing streak or will the Red Devils end a 3 game losing streak with a win at home?

Torpedoes Head Coach, Alvin Peterson had these comments after the game, "This was a game that we should have won, but we couldn't get the ball into the End Zone while we were in the Red Zone. We have only ourselves to blame for this loss. This has been a frustrating season, but we need to keep our heads held high and find ways to improve. We still have games to play and need to start winning some games to get our confidence back. We travel to play the Boston Red Devils next week and need to find a way to win this game. We need to set the tone early on defense, establish our run game, and make this game real physical if we want to have a shot at winning!"
