i'd like to join. if the wolfpacks available i'd like them.

If there's no owner on these teams before the franchise, I would recommend that the commish steps in on each team to tag the following players:

Chicago - QB Kerry Wells
Durham - LT Kurt Warren
El Paso - no real candidate, their best unsigned player is a kicker. I know I wouldn't franchise him if it was my team, maybe others would?

(I haven't looked at Anchorage, since bigmouth has expressed interest in 'em)

I'll be honest here, I'd rather have Wells out of my division too!

But I would hate that whoever steps in to take over the Hitmen has a QB less team, through no fault of his own.

I also agree. Wells is a definite, Warren is a toss up (Durham has 2 younger tackles under contract), and I'd do nothing for El Paso.

I've started the recruiting over at FOFC, but there are a lot of leagues looking for owners. In 3 days, I've gotten no responses. Any other ideas of places to recruit?
