Week 6 was another disappointing game from the Express. After the game coach Hobbs was calm as ever when he said "We aren't playing up to our expectations of ourselves. We played a good team and they took it to us."

After this week, two things have become apparent.

1. Emmanuel Cole has tried to throw this team to victory on his own. He is forcing too many passes as he has thrown six interceptions to only three touchdowns. Currently he is on pace to attempt 682 passes over the course of the season, 83 more then his highest year of 599 attempts while only on pace for eight touchdowns. The coaching staff needs to better utilize what is one of the few bright spots on the Memphis roster.

2. Jason "Che" Guevara, the kicker, is the team's MVP. 47 of the team's 61 points, a league low, have come from Guevara kicks.

With the teams next two games against 4-2 Brooklyn and then 3-2 Atlantic City, Express fans will have to cross their fingers that things turn around soon.
