The 2030 season is upon us and the Honolulu Blue Wave just finished there training camp as the prepare for the regular season.

We have the scoop on the players who impressed, thouse who improved, and those who will likely need to find another team.

We had alot of new bodies in camp so first a rundown of them and ratings changes:

1-20 Britt Perkins S-> CB 38/75 to 46/79 +8/+4
2-25 Gus Hammond QB 5/33 to 6/34 +1/+1
3-24 Artie Rider WR 12/29 to 15/31 +3/+2
4-23 Hunter Dail FB 24/51 to 29/55 +5/+4
5-3 Roy Vaughn DE15/50 to 20/49 +5/-1
5-23 Jamie Root C 21/54 to 28/53 +7/-1
6-3 Orlando Wishek TE 13/28 to 15/29 +2/+1
6-21 Norm Ford S 13/38 to 17/39 +4/+1
7-20 Preston Pendergraft G 15/38 to 14/34 -1/-4

There were alot of FA bodies that had work and plenty of new faces on defense, the team is making the switch form a 4-3 to a 3-4 defense this season.

1st round pick Britt Perkins was moved from safety to CB, he sure did take well to the new position, he has shown nice growth and we feel he can be better than we though prior to TC. Could already be our most talented CB.

2nd round pick QB Gus Hammond was not signed yet as of camp, but he did show up for meeting and did some work on his own on the side, he has improved somewhat, but needs work. The team hopes he can just keep working and improving.

3rd round pick WR Artie Rider has shown improvement in camp, while not stellar he has been good enough.

4th rounder FB Hunter Dail, has been what we thought, the kid is smart has shown solid improvement and we are looking at more of that in his future He gets better every practice and film session.

pick 5A RDE Roy Vaugh has been a nice pickup, he has been picking things up nicely, and still has the ceiling we we hoping for. should get alot of playing time.

pick 5B C Jamie Root has been a pretty quick learner, he is showing promise, his run blocking has been good, he does need to work on his pass protetion though.

Pick 6A TE Orlando Wishek has shown improvement but not as much as we thought, he may take some time to develop, he a hard worker and is showing some good signs.

pick 6B SS Norm Ford while not a physically gifted player has done a nice job in TC and looks like he can be a backup for us. He has improved in all areas so far.

7th rounder Preston Pendergraft was a pick a scout was very impressed by, once we met him in post draft drill etc, we were not impressed he wasn't offered a contract and its highly unlikely we ever will.

standard FA horde was brought in, nobody special, rookie kicker and punter for TC push for the verts both cut, some depth players all over the place a few could make the team. Of that group LT Jeremy Sanford has shown the most improvement.
