And the Iowa based CFL Soldiers take an Iowa Hawkeye.

He did very well in the Combines, and his three static bars look very good. Stelly indicates his Elusiveness Bar is better than advertised, so he's a keeper. We finally have a running back.

We stay in the Big 10 and take an undersized fullback. He's a spark plug.

His Position Drill of 43 caught my eye, the best of the rookie fullbacks, and he has good speed at 4.70 Forty. Endurance Bar is outsanding, and he looks like a solid run blocker, an outstanding ability to pickup the blitz, and catch passes out of the backfield.

Loved his Combine scores. He'll bring Endurance, Strength, and Punishing Hitter Bars to the right side of the d line that has neither. I plan on starting him at right defensive tackle and playing Nick Kasay as a backup. Kasay's Endurance Bar is Zero, and I'm not paying a man second round contract dollars to sit on the sidelines sucking oxygen.

4.14. G Oscar Krock, Indiana Hoosiers
6-5, 325 lbs.
Low Volatility

He's a strong one at 33 Bench Reps, and has good Broadjump and Solevision scores.

Krock needs to lose weight, and his Blocking Bars don't inspire. But, he's got strength and an Endurance Bar that's solid. I took him to be a long term backup and stop gap guard.

But, he could start at right guard this season.

He's a technique tackler and will never be a punishing hitter. Static Bars suck, as does his Endurance Bar. But, he's fast, the right height, and very overweight.

He's a fifth round pick and he'll be a backup.

Nothing special to see here, move on.

I throw the Scouting Staff the last two picks as a bone for them, and they didn't disappoint. If Coffey can hold his bars, he looks like a big addition to the Soldiers' roster.

It got MLB Sutton's attention, he's now holding out. Big Dummy.

7.14. QB Martin Hutton, UCLA Bruins.
6-0, 209 lbs.

He looks like a good clipboard holder, but could be a surprise of the Iowa rookie draft.

Only one player hits the roster with a "needs scorecard" ranking, and that's the fullback. Who remembers fullbacks anyway?

1.14. RB Kenny Sanders 40/59 Post TC: 44/64 +5/+5
Idolized

Hoosier's Post TC Observations: Sanders has the potential to be one of the best running backs I've ever drafted. While some would argue against his Elusiveness Bar, I don't.

2.14. FB Doug Owens 27/63 PTC: 32/62 +5/-1
Need Scorecard

Run blocking and Blitz Pickup both look like untapped potential to the max, and I think he'll be great paired with Sanders. Plus, I like his last name.

3.14. DT Ralph Bethel 27/42 PTC: 29/42
Well Liked

Endurance Bar and Pass Rush Bars all look solid, and his Strength Bar is a tad bit below average. But, with that Endurance Bar, he'll be in the late game stages and still playing well.

4.14. OG Oscar Krock 23/46 PTC 25/43 +2/-3
Recognized

Blocking Strength, Endurance, and Run Blocking look promising. Long term backup and part time starter. I love his Strength and Endurance pairing. Important for the o line.

5.14. DE Duane Woznickzka 17/42 PTC 21/40 +4/-2
Need Scorecard

Backup for depth. I'm hoping he's a creeper and masked, but can't have everything.

6.14. MLB Allen "Black" Coffey 16/48 PTC 19/45 +3/-3
Recognized

My only complaint is his Punishing Hitter Bar. When is the last time you heard of a middle linebacker being called a "finesse" tackler? Everything else looks promising.

7.14. QB Martin Hutton 9/51 PTC 11/47 +2/-4
Well Liked

He's not even a good kick holder, but... he's on the team.
