Dissapointing opening as we trip up and get blown out by absentee El Paso. 3 Insta, 4 Sacks and a safety sank us. The running game also didn't work at all.

GG Santa Cruz. We got off to a good start, you guys brought it back and then we managed to close it out with a narrow victory. I'm guessing our gameplan needs some more tweaking. I experimented a bit and I think we got lucky as it wasn't terribly successful. (I'll have to look at the Log a bit before I throw it in the fire)

A defensive struggle that ended 13-10 in OT. Both defenses played well. A division win for us, but we need to work on things offensively as we were shutdown.

A very close game that certainly could have gone either way. Alex Porto did everything but sell popcorn in this one. I figure this is the way we are going to have to win games this year....Low scoring ugly games....

GG Outlaws. My Rook QB threw for a ton of yards and I had an advantage in Yards Per Rush. Methinks the Toros may not be a pushover this season. Fingers crossed that my new young QB hangs in there and benefits from his experiences.

Concerning indeed -- I went with a Cover 2 / Press Defense this week and we allowed a very high completion rate -- likely would have lost this if the same old Outlaws offense was in play.

I was excited to see we won a significant divisional game in OT, but I didn't see my rookie WR Camden Vanags got hurt during the game.

I was looking over the roster to submit my midweek and see he wrecked his ACL. So after less than a single game into his career, this 4th round steal who went +11/+10 after the draft is now on the shelf and hopefully not done for his career. His 4.37 40 brought some speed to our squad and it will be sorely missed.
