Got some time and getting to the meatier part of our schedule so will give the tretment to CLE today.

Defensively we decided to go mostly press 1 but not blitzing big based on playcalls from their O but I did notice that where they really hurt other teams in more in the intermediate range. We also took advantage of the bye to redo our O GP prolly 80% the same as before but hopefully we can go from being terrible to mediocre to steadily mediocre over the next few weeks. And we took longtime vet Fence out of the slot in our 113, replacing him with the more athletic if less technically sound Blalock. Am a bit concerned about the rainy windy day as we've suffered with fumbles this season.

5 runs gets us into FG range but then we try passing and come up short on 3rd and long. QB Kelley tries a doubled Gault on 3rd and we pick him off in our own end (missed how they got so close so musta been a KR. A couple dinks to the TE get us ot midfield but then a few negative plays lead to our own 3rd down INT and it's a 60 yard pick 6. We get a couple nice YAC chunks ourselves and go back up 3. Rb Johnston has a 20 yard screen and then a 40 yard 3rd down catch adn run to set up 1st and goal for CLE but 3 straight solid tackles means they can only tie it up as we close out the 1st Q.

We can't move the chains but once taking a big sack on 3rd and manageable and RB Johnstone has an 80 yard PR TD. We get an annoying failed complete on 3rd and 3 and CLE is heating up with chain moving runs and intermediate passes but we hold them to 3 points and a 10 point lead. 4 straight completions which is a relative miracle for us gets us into FG range but hen we take a sack and opt to punt from their 34. We push them backwards and take over near midfield at the 2M mark but are lucky to recover a strip sack.

Not sure how I feel about this one, we are down because of a PR and pick 6 and while our comp pct is higher than usual on O we also have taken 3 sacks.

A coupel offeseive penalties help us get CLE off the field and we get nice field position again while recovering another fumble. And recover anotehr fumble later on in the drive or a familiar run off tackle out of the 113 (!!!) but then hit 2 more intermaediate gains to make it a 3 point game. We get another 3andO with more procedural penalties on CLE, we are looking uncharacteristically efficent as we drive dwon to the redzone with a great mix of plays and formations but get hit with another familiar on 3rd inside he 10 out of hte 113 so settle for tying things up. A 67 yard KR sparks CLE but our D holds them there so they can only go up 3. We get 2 striaght familiars and then tthrow a 3rd down pick, a holding call enarly pushes CLE outta FG range but they battle back adn make the 47 yarder and go into the 4th up 6.

Familiar, hug esack and 3rd down INT for us leads to a CLE TD as we are giving this one away. A coupel big runs gets us into FG range quick and we see another 3rd down familiar and coem away with a pretty useless FG beign down 13. A CLE KR TD pretty much seals it.

Well that's dissapointing as apparently I royally fucked us with my GP thought props to CLE for picking off those passes and just flat out destroying us on STs. Back to the drawing board.
