[quoteb63932a="fantastic flying froggies"][quoteb63932a="Taco"][quoteb63932a="Fonzie"]Also, a tip o' the hat to Taco for the inspired nickname![/quoteb63932a] It wasn't me - I was curious who did that - maybe owners have access to give nicknames to undrafted rookies?[/quoteb63932a] hmm, interesting... [ib63932a] *runs off to test it*[/ib63932a] [ib63932a]*runs back*[/ib63932a] It does seem to be that way. I just nicknamed punter Kendrick 'Honolulu' Noa.[/quoteb63932a] Well I'll be. I just assumed Taco had done it - had no idea any of us could. I wonder why Jim coded the nickname availability that way? Weird. I agree with Doug - a rule might be in order to prevent exclusion from the draft analyzer. |

Rod Tkachuk is another scout pick, my scout just absolutely loved him.. He should go great with Harvill, they are both run stopping fools. |

well, at the 2.19 I have had a good bit of the afternoon looking at players still available near here and can't find anyone that screams pick me!!! It is only the 2nd round but a lot of these guys are starting to look the same. I guess that is what I get for missing the staff hiring stages and getting stuck with one of the worst scouts in the league. That is one reason I have been very eager to deal picks this year, I hope to get a much better scout next year. |

I mean the players that are still available could start at most any position for the Rounders. It is just they seem to be very similar in their mediocrity. Ok, so I guess there was a drop off then. |

i can't believe it, had the utility ready to go for most of the afternoon and TT comes in at the last second with a trade deal. I turn the utility off and PM to post that deal and I would confirm. (NOS pick hadn't been made yet, might be who he was after, which is why I am not posting the deal) Now, the bastard seems to have run off. Awwh, I pulled my hammy need ice and morphine. |

Awwh, I pulled my hammy need ice and morphine. thater seems to conveniently forget about the short burst of PM's, most of which seemed unintelligible, wait, yep, they still seem rather confusing even now. lol Regardless, the thief picks my pocket of yet another 16 draft picks over the next two years. It sucks to suck as bad as we did last year so I am hapy to report that stage 2 of the Rounders Rapid Rebuild process is coming along as planned. Yes, I select yet another LB who did not seem as good on paper as Nielsen did and my scout liked the Very Overrated Dixon far less but Ashmore is proving to be a pud, so I said fuck him and kicked him out of the war room. If Dixon turns out better than Nielsen I am refusing to use interviews for good. My decision to take the DT Maciel was solely a value pick that was a little disappointing. If he climbs a few on the backside and creeps closer to a 60 potential it will be worth it, otherwise RCB Jammer will be promoted to the front seven. |

[quote59579d8="TLK"]Sorry for the hold up. Wouldn't have mattered even if I had made a list, as everyone I was looking at is gone. Marcus Davis shouldn't end up being too bad, but I would have rather had Kelly Breien. Oh well.[/quote59579d8] FWIW, Davis was the RB I almost took with 1.28. You can't go wrong with a RB named Marcus, can you? |

I've really come to realize (and we've had this conversation in every league I'm in) that the ratings we see right now do not tell us anything knew. They pretty much show us the same thing that the blue/orange bars told us already. TC is the time to really get nervous. |

And we also know there are plenty of right out busts even before tc, so the number ratings do mean something, even if by all means they do not tell the whole story. |

I just try to not get too awfully excited.. the 1st rounders are not such a big deal, but it's always a bit unsettling how many people get all worked up over their 15/55 6th rounder... |
