[quote405f2a3="JeeberD"]Osborne could be a huge stud, or he could bust on me. DE is a major need for us, so I'm taking that risk...[/quote405f2a3] It's still early, but it looks like the risk paid off big time for me! |

I decided to go ahead and take MLB Donald Burnett because there was a run on OLB's, but there still seemed to be a decent MLB on the board. My scout really liked him. I probably could have gotten him in the 4th, but I don't have a 4th, so I'm happy taking him here. |

He is solid in most areas and is a hard hitter which I liked. |

I had Armstrong at the top of my list and Burnett #2, so it took a second to figure out which one I got |

Long Beach is almost out of time. I don't have game access right now... Can someone post a suggested pick or two? Once there is a consensus I'll make the selection. |

I don't have the application in front of me, but based on headcount from the HTML export, it looks like DT or CB would be logical choices. |

Once there is a consensus I'll make the selection.[/quote1663c7c] I would say Safety and DT are the biggest needs. I am not excited about the top rated players avaialable at either position though. Do we typically make suggestions beyond the top rated players? |

Typically we just select the top rated player at a position of need. |

[quote9d6f124="Taco"]Typically we just select the top rated player at a position of need.[/quote9d6f124] DT Kurt Butler has good speed and agility for his size and is good on run D and Pass Tech. |

I'll make the selection and later tonight I'll load Long Beach's utility with several "Best Available" selections and turn it on. Daedalus, you can change these selections but your utility must remain on and loaded for the remainder of the draft. |

I think Butler's a good choice, but are we making these selections according to our perceptions of roster needs, or by the in-game evaluation? |
