Wow... I have to think that the value of the 1.7 has just skyrocketed... the LT is STILL out there...

I'm hoping he falls to me at #17. :)

I think what we're seeing is that the folks who have had picks already are picking based on needs, where their needs are not at LT. (Aside from the 1st 3 picks, which were pretty clear no matter who you had on board.) Given how much of a sure thing LT Davis is, I'd be very, very surprised if he lasts past #10.

I don't have the game here at work right now.. anyone looked to see how the OT's look on the teams at #7 and #8?

Either one of the next two teams could use him, though #7 has a 2nd year player at LT that has a bright future. He will not last past #8 though as Hunington Beach as a big hole at T. I'm still not sure about that Solecismic score though!

Great value pick!

I was starting to hope he slipped to #9...

Due to unforeseen problems with my work laptop (it is dead in the water with no explanation)...

So.. I cannot make a pick until I get home (about 4:30 EST)

Even more interesting is the fact Long Beach has now used a #9 2005 pick on a LT and a #7 2006 pick on a LT.

Long Beach really, really likes O-Line.

In case that wasn't abundantly obvious. :D

Moving one to RT perhaps?

Davis is better at run blocking than pass blocking so moving him to RT would make sense. But the LT they took last year is also a run blocker too. I'm lost.

I looked at Long Beach's roster and guessed that he would not take Davis so I didn't attempt to trade up to get him. I guessed wrong. :( He would have filled a huge hole.

Not having the game available right now, I'm curious about the MLB... I don't remember having a MLB on my radar in the first round, let alone the top 10...

Lucas is 41/62 with great combine numbers. High volatility but with 35 reps in the bench and a 4.62 40 time he looks safe enough if you really need a stud in the middle.

FWIW, my scout (VG for LBs) sees him as 41/68...

My scout who is only average in LB's puts him at 40/67.

His combine scores alone adjust him upwards though. Pretty good specimen...

My scout also sees him as 40/67. I'm not sure how forseeable it would be, but he is a big boy who is very good at run defense and rushng the passer. Could be a good DE, but probably ILB is his best position.

I had this guy rated in the top 8 above Eddie Crawford and Derrick Bottoms, but I figured he'd slide a little because LB is deep in the CFL. K.C. Davis at #7 is a steal and a half.

I see... I remembered an ILB rather than an MLB and it was this guy...

I was actually planning on this guy slipping to my 1.13 where I expected to get him...

wade, you bastard! I had a trade all lined up to get Frazier at #10, but you had to go and torpedo that (no pun intended).

Don't you have enought young CBs already?

I was attempting to get the CB at #10 as well.

This was really a BPA pick...

There was no one ponying up what I felt was worth the pick... and to me he was clearly the BPA... that being said... My CB corps took a big hit when I traded Koch... But, the Cap deemed it necessary... So, I have one really good old CB and at this point if Frazer keeps his numbers, he starts for me this year...

Nice pick DB... I could have almost flipped a coin to decide between Frazer and D'O..... But in the end, I was too concerned about D'O's endurance....
