[quote7b24695="Fonzie"]I think Butler's a good choice, but are we making these selections according to our perceptions of roster needs, or by the in-game evaluation?[/quote7b24695] We usually go with the in-game evaluation, but don't always have to. |

[quotebbe428f="Fonzie"]I think Butler's a good choice, but are we making these selections according to our perceptions of roster needs, or by the in-game evaluation?[/quotebbe428f] The in game said DE, but he already drafted one, then ILB and FB, and he has 3 ILB and 2 FB. So the answer to your questions is Perceptions. Is there a rule that we need to use the system, because I almost never agree with the system regarding my own team. |

We're not trying to reward people for missing their draft picks, just get a pick in that looks like it would fit their team. Best thing to do is to not miss a draft pick - setup the utility. At least then, the pick would be made from the first person on your list in the utility, even if you didn't have it on. |

Phillip Rasheed is another one of the LBs I was looking to get, he put up some good combine numbers and had some nice orange bars, and was very underrated by my scout- so I'm hoping he turns into something useful. I will most likely switch him over to SLB where he has more experience. I figure if I keep drafting LBs some of them have to turn into something decent. The only problem with Rasheed, and the reason I didn't take him with my first 3rd round pick is- he will have a conflict...but I can live with that if he turns into a solid player. |

Oh well, I'll have to settle with a tackle that's was rated high but got left over for some reason. |

He'll probably be a 31/62 tackle coming out of training camp. Rasheed will probably be a 25/56 or so. I like your tackle better. |

Denver's top needs are listed as ILB, RB and S. They've already drafted a S and their starting MLB has a potential of 65 according to my scout, so I think RB makes the most sense. I'll suggest either RB Randall Shapiro or RB Matthew Wright. |

Our top 2 picks this year have both been RBs. I think Dunlap has some potential based on his bars. Even though he didn't workout, I feel he will turn out to be one of the fastest backs in this draft. I also liked his intangibles as he will mesh well with our backfield leader, etc. I'm cruious to see where others had him rated however. |

I had him on the list as well, but figured he wasn't falling that far. As it turns out he has some good potential coming out at 27/60. Dunlap looks pretty good so far as he is starting out being listed as 45/51. I hope the later number improves in camp rather than the prior number dropping. |

He could be a solid backup for Cleveland. |

[quoted53d6a0="Fastcat"]My scout is Fair on the DL and he has him at 17-54 also interesting, maybe we should put together a study of what different rated scouts see, just to see how important the scout really is, what really pisses me of is when my scout is rated very good in something and he still comes up with the "hard to read" quote, total b.s. what do i pay him for? i would expect an answer like that from scout rated lower at that position. |

TT give it a shot, I am no guinea pig here. |

dola, I see him at 17 / 54 also, but I think I know why. Now that he is on a team, yet not through camp. The only scout that sees something different the the rest of the league is Cleveland's. We all get an assement, but after camp our scouts may differ. |
