Well was a little concerned with the endurance myself. THis will allow to to work a 4-3 next year which I prefer and the team was a 3-4 style team when I took it over. I have a couple decent young DTs that can do some rotation with him as needed. More importantly I got my "Frazier" in the CB Tulsa sent me. All you "scum" out there were maneuvering to steal him from me anyway. :D Glad TBY snagged him first. I see how it is now. :x You guys are playing for blood.

We've tried playing for limbs before, but it turns out that blood has a much higher resale value.

I was hoping to get the DT- but once he was gone I decided to go with another big need at WR. Hopefully Lowe, Fulton, and Booker will be future stars in the CFL.

First of all, nice banner!

Second of all, I felt the WR was a bit of a reach.. but, now that you've made that move my hand feels forced to potentially reach on a certain player that I've been considering...

I have been known to reach for WRs *Daniel Campbell sucks* so thats no huge suprise. I dont think he would have fallen to 18 so I traded up where I could and got him.

Well at least here in Anchorage we'll finally have a good QB in a couple of years. Now if we ever beef up the secondary...

Nice pick. Even though my scout sucks with QBs, I thought England was an excellent prospect. He'll need a year or two to develop, but I very much believe he's on his way to great things.

*sigh* it was probably too much to expect he'd drop to #17.... :)

I have to wonder... is this the guy you've been targetting with several attempts to trade up? If so, bravo on you!

Looks like England could start this year? Could be a tough year... But fortunately for you the boy can run...

If all of my commentary annoys everyone, let me know..

Fargo: I was JUST eyeing Hickman and hoping he somehow slipped to 2.9 or early in the second to trade up for him..

3ric: I'm baffled as to why you pick Poston of Clary? To me Clary is clearly the better T....

I agree 100% with 3ric's assessment (damn him!!!).

Poston has low volatility, Clary has high.
Poston is better-rounded than Clary.
Poston had better combine numbers.

I'm so backwards...

I agree now that I don't rush through.. I was thinking Poston was the one with no blocking strength..

Good Pick 3ric! ;)

Exactly. A no-brainer IMHO, with the first-round pick you can't afford to take chances, and there's not much difference anyway.

(Edit: and Poston is more developed, another thing going for him)

I agree with 3ric whole heartedly. I had Polston as the #2 Tackle behind Davis. Good pick, 3ric.

good picks for both Fargo and Baltimore.

Honolulu is on the clock and there is still one of the top 3 WRs on the board, will they get another target for Mr. Ronnie Tu? They could really use a FL- and with the success they had last year picking Leroy O'Neil I have a feeling they might go with Vinny Sims.

After that there is Boston and then Tulsa- I know who I am hoping to get :)

Gonna need him to start building my offensive line around, once I get Cheeks and Bennett off the books and start building a team with younger players.

Stinkin' Bug is one of the reasons I reached for my WR.... for fear that he would grab him...

Who's that? :)

By the way, after about 5 Central today I won't be back on-line until midday Saturday.

No way would I go with Clary when his strength is so low.
