Thought I might have a little fun with trying to predict a few games this week using the in-game point spread...

Boston at Atlantic City (-4) - Kind of a strange line since Boston's roster is stacked like pancakes. I'm guessing the game gives some weight to their performance vs other good teams and Boston has not been good against the other good teams in the league: 13-40 vs TEN, 13-17 vs SAN, 7-26 vs BKN but they did pull through against SHR last week. ACI seems to have strong units on both sides of the ball and I expect the linebacker duo of Mangrum and Crawford to shut down Boston's run game and force Klingbiel to throw, which hasn't been a strength for the offense really. 34-24 ACI. 3 Sacks for ACI.

Honolulu at Las Vegas (-3) - Think this one will be really entertaining to watch, but I think HON will pull this one out in a close affair. When DET played LVS, we couldn't really stop them... but we were able to snag 2 interceptions and run the ball pretty well. HON has a much better defense and run game than we do and I think they'll be able to both A) stop LVS and B) run the ball. I'll be watching this one closely since HON is coming up on the schedule... 21-20 HON. 3 turnovers between both teams.

Tennessee (-6) at New Orleans - Backing TEN to win and cover in a straightforward game seems like the obvious play. I'd have set the line much bigger, but losses to ACI and BKN have slowed the TEN hype train. A much better all-around team and one that is looking for a first round bye shouldn't be looking past a team like NOS. The one edge I would give to NOS would be their secondary and I think they're looking to snag 1-2 interceptions to keep TEN from scoring a ton so I'm going to say this will be a 26-10 win for TEN. Andre Zhang with another 100+ yd rushing game.

Kansas City at Detroit (-2) - DET has been resurgent since losses to OMA and DUR, winning 3 in a row. Just looking at the roster matchups, records, and statistics, the casual bettor would think DET should be more favored at home. However, KCY put together their most complete game of the season after their bye, Grueneich is still an elite QB, and KCY's offensive weapons can still turn it on when they have the ball in their hands. Couple this with injuries to DET's stellar defensive line (Riley Gray questionable with a sprained knee and Agustoni probably with a sprained thumb) and you could be cooking an Upset Stew. Expect an aerial attack from KCY-- DET has a rather porous passing defense statistically, leaning heavily on the pass rush to stop drives-- to be met with Mitchem looking for top targets Voinovich and new acquisition Rusty Von Wyss.

Keys to the game:
Which team will run the ball better? KCY has been disastrous on the ground, but DET has overhauled their backfield in the last few weeks.
Which team's defensive stars will show up? DET has some monsters on defense, but an errant pass from Mitchem (currently lowest INT/ATT ratio in the league) into a capable KCY secondary could swing the game completely.

I'm not allowed to bet on my own team, but I think DET will be able to come out on top as we do have great depth at DE and LB. 28-20 DET, Luis Anthony to come up with his first INT of the season.

"KCY has been disastrous on the ground" - oh well oh well oh well now I´ll just put in a season high run yardage:-)

Your season high running performance was last week vs STL so maybe your guys are still hot...

Unfortunately, I can't really comment too much on the other conference's games... I don't really pay attention to 'em unless they're on my schedule. I might try to do one Western Conference game a week tho to get me to learn up on those teams.
