Open your multiplayer game, go to Controls - Participants - Import game files - to grab the new stage file. Starting the season off right against our divisional rivals would be huge. Won't be many changes on O but with our new D front we hope to create more chaos, will be interesting to see how we do without Almeida on the field though. No major changes for ELP either and we split two close games last season...keep an eye on the rain. Running and short passes get us to scoring range with new TE Mayes who we swapped out for our previous blocker getting two grabs with YAC but Holzer loses the ball after a nice gain to the left edge and ELP comes up with it. Johnstone answers moving the sticks twice himself but also loses the football and we take over at their 26 and Mitchem is doing well to avoid the doubles out wide with Holzer getting free and into the endzone. RB Barker answers with a 30 yard receiving scamper and ELP mixes it up to tie things up. We go 3andO as ELPs rush shows up and they overcome a hold as they find McKenzie on 3rd and long in the face of a blitz as Wyatt is 8/8 and Johnstoen breaks free for a 60 yard TD on the next play. We grind and dink a bit but a drop and tipped pass ends our threat. Stud RT McKnight leaves the game for ELP and they can't do much, we dink and run a bit but can't connect deep and come up short on a 3rd down scramble and Te Stocz drops the 4th and 1 pass. Wyatt is defying our rush, finding receivers and scrambling and Johnstone haul sin his 2nd TD and is already over 100 yards. We are moving the ball well at all levels and suffer another deep drop but Stocz grabs teh next oen and rumbles into the endzone with a shanked XP following. ELP can0t overcome a TFL on 1st down and come sup short on 3rd and 14 and we fidn Holzer over the middle once more but he coughs it up and we lose it once more. Our D holds itght though tacklign McKenzie short on 3rd and ELP goes up 11. Penalties push us bakc 15 yards and we get 24 on 3rd and 25 giving ELP the ball back outside of 2 minutes. Elp plays it safe even on 3rd and long so get it back with more than a minute left but the hurry up never really activates as we rack up a bunch of short passes but run out of time. Well the fumbles are one thing but we gotta do better out wide as they are over 11 ypa and 14/19. Our run D has really tightened up and it helps us force the 3andO but we throw a pick to a doubled Fence and ELP battles their way to another TD and 18 point lead. We get a nice return and Mitchem avoids the double to find Fence for a chunk and Gibbons overcomes the double downfield for a nice TD grab and we stay in it for now despite failing on the 2 pointer. ELP goes backwards again with poor running and a penalty but Rodriguez grabs it just short and takes off on 3rd and 16 for a demoralizaing conversion. More backwards early downs for ELP and we get it back with a nice PR but man those 30 yards woudl be nice ot get back. Mitchem is going downfield and misfires deep but finds Crabtree on 3rd and 10 but drops the 2nd time 3rd down comes up. 3andO for ELP as they just run it into the line thrice and we get another nice PR but need some GD points soon. A sack and hold put us into 2nd and 27 and Mitchem just can't get it done deep. A piss poor punt but Barker is toothless however Wyatt is gashing us on scrambles with 39 of ELP's 58 rushing yards. Barker is under 1 ypc but breaks a blast on 3rd and 3 for 22 and Wyatt demoralizes us once more avoiding the rusher and finding McKenzie on 3rd and 11 grabbing the game over TD a few plays later. GG landshark, no doubt who the better team was today. We had no answer for McKenzie and Johnstone who went a combined 13/15 for more than 200 yards and 3 scores. As you preyed on us in the intermediate depth going 10/12 for 175. Fence saw a ridiculous 22 targets ad while the run game was solid we found ourselves behind down and distance too often for old man Mitchem as we went 3/13 long and racked up 4 bad throws. Can't do much about Holzer fumbling but tbh doesn't look like that would have been enough anyways...note to self, spy and throw in some doubles next time. |

Good game, Ushikawa.. thx for the write-up... better than "solevision".. big win for us..barker couldn't do anything on the ground.... rocketman maybe got some confidence back after throwing three fourth quarter pick sixes in his last (playoffs) game... nice to see him play to his potential... and win a huge division game on the road... |

GG Bob..... Nice start with your rebuilt team. Not sure why the coaching staff pulled Porto so early in the game. They know the backup is only there to hold kicks well.........and he messed that up to! Scrap that whole day and move on.... The rookie LB's played okay. The decision on when to start the rookie OL is getting to be a heated discussion around militia headquarters. |

GG Turf Hindsight is 20/20 but I see exactly what we did wrong Kinda angry at myself for not seeing it before the game but it can be fixed See you in the rematch at your house week 11 |

We looked strong out of the box, now to see if we have the longevity. Very Happy with Fryday, Got the feeling he's going to keep performing at a High Level. He had a Nice final preseason game and a Better first game. VooDoo starting off looking good. |
