Rematch vs DEN, they embarassed us week 1...seems like our D played alright other than vs the 221 where they killed our blitz and they just tackled the shit out of us on D and came out on top. Made some minor adjustments but if they contain Fence it may be a similar result.

Eagleton hurts us in the passing game a couple times but a hold calls one back adn they come up short on 3rd and 16. We go run, run, pass to 2 conversions and grind out another before hitting new starter WR Sigrest for his 3rd 10+ yard completion on teh day to set up 1st and goal but he drops the next one and rookie RB gets in ona 3rd down draw with a missed XP. They dink and dust their way to the orange zone once more but we hold up and take over at our 6.

3 straight successful rusn gets us out of our end but we coem up just short on 3rd and 10 and are forced to punt pinning DEN at their 6. A big TFL and pressure ends DEN's attempt quickly and we take over enar midfield. Castillo hold sup on a PA deep shot but we remain sharp on 3rd down up to 7/8 as we move to 1st and goal and grind i tinto the endzone. Dole and Eagleton are just churingotu 7 yard gains but we get back to backs sacks to knock them out of FG range and they once mroe punt from roughly our 40. We annoyingly go conservative on teh 2M drill so Sigrests 30 yard chunk doesn't happen until 40 seconds are left and coem away with nothing.

3rd down is winning this for us so far. Old school FAR football with 20 rushing attempts in teh 1st half.

We move the sticks once on teh ground but nothing more and DEN can't budge it until a failed completion on 3rd. We get oru standard PR fumble but recover. Caniglia picks up his 4th 1st on 3rd down and we cough it up once more yet again recover. A YAC chunk from our TE Mayes gets us into FG range but the pressure taeks over and Mitchem can't connect with Fence ona coupel downfield attempts and we settle for 3 and a 16 point lead. Yet anotehr failed complete for DEN on 3rd after a TFL running as Caniglia picks up yet another 3rd and we hit Fence on the PA deep shot this time but can't capitalize and settle for pining them at their 3 near the end of the 3rd.

Solid runing and defensive penalties get them out to midfield, an offensive facemask leads to a 3rd and 30 and we get flagged for holding in teh secondary to bail them out but our blitzes are causing chaos and they are forced to celebrate a long FG make with over 10 minutes left. Holzer breaks through the man to man 3rd and short front for 55 and we move into kill the clock mode in FG range takign the clock down to 4:20 and going bakc up 16.

3rd downs and fumble recover luck made this lok easy but we still aren't showign the firepower we likely will need next week against nemesis ELP, i mean Philly.
