Huge game vs ELP ahem PHI as we look to sweep our division midseason. Gonna throw some Cover 3 Cloud in the mix along with a pretty standard 2 high approach and in general try to avoid another 80 point shootout like last POs.

PHI gets a nciei KR and Rodriguez goes for 50 on a deep pass against aforementioned Cloud and they score in under 90 seconds. Uh-oh...Sigrest gets us a nice chunk and we get to their 1 and tie it up on 2nd down. So 9 plays and 2 TDs so far, maybe our general plan is a bit off the rails. A drop helps us get PHI off the fiel and we have oru weekly PR fumble but are lucky to recover. We move the chains twice on tehgoudn before hitting Sigrest twice downfield to go up 7. PHI moves it downfield efficiently but longitme S Watkins gets two deflection sin teh RZ so they settle for 3.

We get good field position and Sigrest hauls in 2 more deep shots at currently sits at 5/5 for 131 and 2 TDs. Sullivan chews us up over the middle with McKenzie moving the chians 3 times and Barker takes a short pass to the endzone on 3rd and goal form the 10 but ther eis an OPI call so he has to hit Rodriguez from teh 20. We move to a YAC and dust approach with middling results and nthen Sigrest leaves the game (uffff!). PHI mizes it up nicely in teh 4 minute drill and is once more facing a 1st and goal at the 2M mark but we hold up and remain up 1. Fence gets us a nice chunk in teh hurry up and we catch them blitzing on a TE screen to set up our own 1st and goal and go back up 8.

Who knows, maybe one of these days we will play a defensive game but this sure doesn't look like that time. We backloaded running plays in our GP and that may be enough for us to escape without Sigrest going HAMin the 2nd half.

Another nice field position start but we come up short on 3rd and 2 and try the long FG but no good as our kicking game has been a problem this season all of a sudden. Sulilvan is killing us on 3rd and is up to 7/11 but we get oru own stuff on 3rd and short and as usually happens in our games with PHI they go for it and launch one downfield for Rodriguez who easily skips by the vacated secondary to the endzone with Sullivan dropping in the 2 pinter to tie things up. Mitchem goes yard to Fence for 40 and it takes 4 runs but we pound it in. We get the INT as Sullivan is forced to throw on teh move but can't take advantage and end up missing another long FG. Our pressue starting to cave in PHIs protection and we get it back quickly.

Fence gets a nice gain for us and maliggned TE Mayes grabs the corner route for 32 against PHIs Cover 4 on 3rd and forever. THe running game dries up and it looks like nother long FG but Fence bails us out on 3rd and backup WR Blalock catches maybe the first pass of his career to put us up 14. Our DL is dominating now byt of course we fumble the PR and PHI grabs it this time. PHI overcomes a couple penalties with Barker as a recevier but we get teh failed complete in teh RZ and they kick it with 7 minutes left. We are in clockkill mode up 2 scores but can't budge it so PHI takes over with 5 minutes left. PHI faces another 3rd and 1 and both their downfield attempts are snuffed out, PHEW! that shoudl be ball game...

Well certainly not what we planned but we will take it Mitchem went 17/22 for over 15ypa and for the first time in a logn time eh did not have multiple misfires. 5 drops from PHI was a hidden factor reevaled by the boxscore. Going 5/0 in the RZ in non garbage time was a big help to us.

PR fumbles nad the kicking game are big liabilities for us right now but we have righted the ship. Sigrest and Crantee will both be at 100% in 2 weeks supposedly and we have a well-timed bye before Baltimore so not really sure if they will play then or not.

- JJ Green had a sick 37yd INT Return for a TD

- Dole Caught his 166 Receiving TD, Breaking Wally Woodens 165 record.

GG man, we are starting to understand the Air Coryell offense better and it's showing with Wombles and Doles performance.

always a good game vs Fargo.. my favorite fof rivalry right now... love the way ush puts a gp together... this one was good for awhile, but not our day today...

0-4 in the division, been outscored on the year.. but still 6-4.. i feel like we can beat anybody.. and lose to anybody... gotta do better after the bye...
