Big game vs MIA. We ended up changing very little...they hung with us and really shoulda wo earlier this season with chunk YAC plays so we just went a bit more vanilla than usual and hope our O can put up some points.

Hughes looks great early with Keeler setting MIA up at our 19 grabbing a nice ball deep but they go 3andO from there and ick the FG. We dink and dust our way to the orange zone but can't convert and look pretty toothless. MIA gets a conversion but no more and we take over with Mitchem converting a couple 3rds and mediums before Holzer finally breaks loose for a 37 yard TD to close the 1st.

Back to back pressures from Bradford get MIA off the field and Holzer gets another chunk before maligned new TE Boon breaks off a 40 yard YAC TD. Bradford gets another 3rd down stop batting down Hughes' pass, Holzer gets to work getting us off our 3 all the way to the 40 with a bit of everything and Mitchem converts another 3rd and medium and Crabtree gets a chunk to bring us to FG range. We take a huge 14 yard sack and are lucky to recover with Fence hauling in a 23 yarder on 3rd but it isn't enough to convert and we shank the kick (kicking has been a huge issue all season for us). We tackle well to get MIA off the field quick and take over pinned at our 2 this time and we grind it out to the half with Mitchem twinking his knee.

Doubt our D can keep this up for a whole another half but so far we look great.

Penalties have us starting at our 5 once more but we have little trouble grinding it out of there and we manage to flip the field ot have them start at their 5 and we go for the blitz but Kemp toasts us for 20 but no there was a hold in teh endzone so it is a safety. A nice PR and Crabtree has 4 intermediate grabs as we push the lead to 20. Hughes tweaks his kneee as well as he battles for MIA but Bradford gets yet another 3rd down rush. Crabtree continues his hyper efficient day but a OPI call brings back a deep gain to Fence and we can't overcome so MIA takes over at their 5 to start the 4th.

3andO for MIA as they just can't get completions now and we hit Fence once more over the top and puts the game away.

Pretty much our ideal game where those 3-4 yard runs lead ot 3rd down conversions and our athletes add some chunks. And the D was lights out especially on 3rd.

It's just a one week injury for Mitchem and Probable but says Medium risk of reinjury and DE Stai broke his jaw in garbage time where we are quite thin. PHI is dead even with us so although I would love to sit Mitchem against STL I don't really want to have to win in week 17.

GG Ush

Well that sucked. Your team was doing everything right. Good luck the rest of the way. Will be interesting to see how the post season plays out.

I'm rooting for Jimmy M. get another ring. I would be surprised if he didn't retire this year.
