Santa Cruz had the wrong stage :?:

Midweek due sunday by nooon. Hopefully I got the boxscores / logs right in this one, I am pretty sure I did but if something is not there let me know and I will get another zip up as soon as I can.

Yet another Player of the Week award for Dwayne Bridges, with his 5th game of 4 or more TD passes. If he can manage his 2nd 5 TD game of the season he'll finish the year with 50 passing TDs and more than 5000 passing yards. Three total touchdowns and he'll wind up with 50 total TDs on the season.

This scared me
3-04-LVS26 (07:26) HAR 3 Oberg pass completed to 85 Trail for 10 yards.
Tackled by LVS 23 Dowdy.
HAR 68 Oroumieh was injured on the play.

Fortunately he is out for only one week. He ends the season 16/54 (29.6%) on key run blocks and allowed 6 sacks (1.1%). Not bad, but I will be looking for more next season.

Great second half for my defense:
Las Vegas drives
3 15:00 1:24 OWN 38 3 1 Punt
3 10:14 2:01 OWN 6 3 8 Punt
3 6:36 1:48 OWN 17 5 17 Punt
4 13:36 1:26 OWN 20 3 9 Punt
4 3:26 0:42 OWN 22 3 0 Punt

With the win over Vegas and some help, Hartford has clinched a wild card spot.

Wow. Big 35-16 victory over Memphis.

Three teams are tied at 10-5 in the Ring of Ice Division!

If I win next week at home against Seattle, I clinch the division with an 11-5 record!:D

If I lose, I will probably miss the playoffs.

Big sim this Tuesday. . .

Geez what a turnover-fest in Sacramento... the rookie has got to learn to keep those outside throws safe. :(

You must be looking at the export, which hasn't been updated. Santa Cruz lost in Week 16 and is now 8-7.

If they beat Sacto and you win, you get the division.

was gonna comment on it but didn't want to spoil since I figured you were probably watching it with your viewer...

I saw the score, didn't pay attention to how points got scored, then saw the offensive stats for my team, was not impressed and absolutely didn't understand how we had won by so much. I then saw the line where Paul Stith's 3 int and 2 INT TD were listed, wow...

Good [i7c8b2bb]lord![/i7c8b2bb] Five more fumbles, four lost. I just cannot believe how we keep putting the ball on the ground. Backup RB Darryl Bradley now has [i7c8b2bb]13[/i7c8b2bb] fumbles on the year in just 221 touches (169 rushes, 20 receptions, and 32 returns). He only had 13 in his first two entire seasons (397 total touches). Insane. I can only imagine how good we might be if we weren't at -12 turnovers on the year.

Nevertheless we managed a 21-11 win, so my bitching must remain limited. And I must continue to give my opponents some credit for prying the ball out of our (apparently weak) grasp. Good game!

Yea. I was looking at the export but I thought I found a Santa Cruz box score in the zip that indicated that they won this week. Either there is an old box score in there or I misread it. At any rate, that's good news. We're still alive (even if we need some help).

Quite a statement game by the Vampires today.

El Paso was the best defense in the league coming into this game, and we just kicked their ass. 41 pts, more than 400 yds total offense...

I guess my air attack strategy worked pretty well.
Brian 'the Man' Manos is a monster, he caught another 11 passes for 153 yds (both team records) and 1 TD today, and that's in roughly 3 quarters work. He now is 5th in catches and TDs in the league. Oh, he's a TE by the way. If he isn't named CFL 1st team, I quit the league... I swear I will!!!

Apparently, putting in rookies against a good team is not the recipe for success. Couldn't get anything going on offense with a lot of 3-and-outs....SO....

...my lesson learned for this week is to take out as many Honolulu players as I can to put this week's ass-kicking behind me.

I guarantee 1 major injury and at least 2 unnecessary roughness penalties next week when we square off against Honolulu.

No hard feelings MrBug, just restoring some pride in Vegas.

.500 or Bust!

Although I'm a little miffed at the loss, I'm not too upset because we still have a playoff spot. The big question is whether or not we can get healthy before the playoffs. Last weeks murder-fest against Memphis took out a couple of Shreveport's key players. Even though we hate San Antonio (cheeky bastards) there's a good chance that they see a lot of scrubs lining up across from them next week.
