What a thrilling finish this past week in the CFL was!

Some teams backed in the playoffs, some others were left outside looking in. Thus is the harsh reality of a CFL regular season.

Rankings wise, [b0fa335a]Durham [/b0fa335a]succeeds Honolulu as the #1 ranked team after the regular season. Will the Bulldogs do what the Blue Pacific did last season and go all the way to win the CFL Bowl?

The top 10 teams make the playoffs, and [b0fa335a]Huntington Beach[/b0fa335a]is the unlucky team, being the highest ranked team not making it to the postseason at #11. After a red hot start, the Capitalists had a big midseason slump that cost them the division, as a strong finish could not contain a surge by division rival Sacramento Dragons.

On the other hand, [b0fa335a]New Orleans[/b0fa335a], despite a 8-8 record and a #19 ranking, make the playoffs for the 2nd consecutive season and will try to earn their first ever playoff win.

[b0fa335a]Arizona [/b0fa335a]finishes ranked #32, with a 1-15 record that pegs them as the worst team in CFL history along with the 2003 Detroit Vampires (then Biohazzard). Arizona is now the worse franchise in league history.

Best possible score: 133 pts
Worst possible score: -135 pts

This concludes another season of your FFF rankings. They will now go in hibernation mode during the playoffs and offseason and will come back stronger than ever in 2007!

Thanks for reading. Good luck to all the playoff teams!

How much does Arizona hurt my overall score?

What is posted above is just the sum of points earned by all the teams you played.

So in this specific case, Arizona gives you -107 points. Twice, since you played them twice. In other words, you current -58 would be +156 pts if you hadn't played Arizona.

This is the reason why I call this SOS a bastardized version, it is not quite a true SOS but does give a rough indicator of how tough a schedule was.

[chants]We're number five! We're number five![/chants]

Wow - I had the 4th easiest schedule? It sure didn't feel like it, but I imagine Arizona had something to do with that.

Thanks for providing your rankings again this season, fff! I look forward to seeing them again next season!
