Great work, geek! This will be a lot of fun!

It's interesting to see the teams... Two people went for Dwayne Bridges despite the high price tag, and almost everyone selected a player from their own team.

I like Jeeber's team... Hurst should pick up some extra points with rushing stats, and getting a WR from Fargo makes sense. Crap, why didn't I think of that!

The pressure is on for Spearman with 5 votes. Also, Michael Browning got 5 votes (not 4).

Less than 8 hours until game time!!!

If anybody's interested and FWIW, here's the reasoning on my picks I sent the Guru.

QB Dustin Hayes (ELP, $18 ) unproven, but could do some great things this season if Jeeber doesn't screw things up
RB Alan Spearman (HAR, $30) - the real deal
RB Monty Boyd (DET, $23) - I plan on using him a lot in both the running and passing game so hopefully I'll get good value out of him
TE Jerrod McNeese (MEM, $11) - GoldenEagle said he was looking for a pass catching TE, hope he found him!
WR Michael Browing (DUR, $24) - if I couldn't draft him last season, at least I can draft him in this fantasy league!
WR Michael Feeney (LVS, $24) - Las Vegas likes to throw the ball, and he's the only decent receiver on their team.

I really wanted to pick Oberg too, but he was too expensive and I already had Spearman from Hartford anyway, so...

It would appear that the market (including me) felt the Toros were overvalued.

I could easily have made several squads using the Ring of Fire players. I so badly wanted to use Holliday (TUC) and Sonntag (ARI) in the backfield but couldn't make it work $-wise.

I tried using Tu (along with Devers and Bridges) in many different formations but the $ was prohibitive. I thought about submitting a squad without a TE but didn't think that would fly within the rules.

My gamble pick was Radke as Spearman will either bust up a knee or just plain bust.
