I dunno about that. Your rush defense, overall, appears to be decent. Drew just seems to have his way with your team. :)

Week 16 comparison:
[bfabc1e7]Rushing:[/bfabc1e7]
Liszkiewicz - 17 carries, 72 yards, 0 td, 0 fmbs
Holliday - 28 carries, 102 yards, 1 td, 2 fmbs
Spearman - 27 carries, 120 yards, 3 tds, 1 fmb
Terrell - 11 carries, 52 yards, 1 td, 0 fmb
[bfabc1e7]Recieving:[/bfabc1e7]
Liszkiewicz - 3 catch, 23 yards
Holliday - 2 catch, 9 yards
Spearman - 4 catches, 30 yards
Terrell - 2 catches, 14 yards
[bfabc1e7]Returns:[/bfabc1e7]
Liszkiewicz - 1 kr, 19 yards
Holliday - 0
Spearman - 0
Terrell - 0

Seattle kept their playoff hopes alive with a huge win over a good Cleveland (9-6) team 31-13. The polish express was solid averaging over 4.2 yards per carry and adding a couple catches. Seattle may need some help to make the playoffs, but their game next week against an Anchorage team that is among the best will be tough in any case.

Drew Holliday went over 100 yards for the third time in 4 games with 102 in a nice shutout win over Memphis (5-10), 20-0. Tucson has clinched a wild card spot, and will make the playoffs for the third year in a row.

Similarly, Alan Spearman has now gone over 100 in 3 of the past 4. He scored all 3 of Hartford's touchdowns in a 20-10 victory over Huntington Beach (7-8 ), racking up 120 yards in the process. Hartford remains the top team in the CFL at 14-1, and probably are considered the favorite to win it all by most.

Don Terrell was solid off the bench with a touchdown and 4.6 yards per carry as Long Beach held off Atlantic City (2-13) to clinch a non-losing season and keep their playoff hopes alive. They face a good Sacremento team that has fallen apart down the stretch, and a win could send them to the playoffs. I'm not 100% clear on all the scenarios at play, but 6 teams are fighting over the last wild card spot.

Season comparison with 1 week left:
[b5194daa]Rushing:[/b5194daa]
Liszkiewicz - 212 carries, 815 yards, 6 tds, 5 fmbs
Holliday - 318 carries, 1312 yards, 10 tds, 5 fmbs
Spearman - 296 carries, 1173 yards, 11 tds, 8 fmbs
Terrell - 94 carries, 369 yards, 3 tds, 2 fmbs
[b5194daa]Recieving:[/b5194daa]
Liszkiewicz - 16 catch, 168 yards, 2 tds, 4 drops
Holliday - 18 catch, 115 yards, 0 tds, 0 drops
Spearman - 35 catches, 383 yards, 1 td, 3 drops
Terrell - 10 catches, 66 yards, 1 td
[b5194daa]Returns:[/b5194daa]
Liszkiewicz - 7 pr, 57 yards, 28 kr, 705 yards, 1 td
Holliday - 1 pr, 6 yards
Spearman - 5 kr, 109 yards
Terrell - 0

One stat that might not jump out at first glance is that heading into the final week rookie Alan Spearman actually has produced the most total offense with 1556 yards to Drew Holliday's 1427. He also has scored the most tds of this group with 12 total. He has to be a lock for rookie of the year.

With all his return yardarge, the Polish Express actually leads the pack at 1745 all purpose yards with Spearman coming in second at 1665.

I really wish FOF tracked all-purpose yards, I truly believe it to be a very important stat.

What's even more frustating is that it's in TCY but didn't made the cut in FOF2004...

I agree. Looking at all-purpose yards, my backup RB appears almost as important to my team as Holliday:

RB Drew Holliday: 1312 yds rushing + 115 yds receiving + 6 yds punt returns = 1433 all-purpose yards.

RB Darryl Bradley: 670 yds rushing + 272 yds receiving + 264 yds punt returns = 1206 all-purpose yards.

Week 17 comparison:

Holliday - 7 carries, 26 yards, 1 td, 0 fmbs
Spearman - 16 carries, 82 yards, 0 tds, 0 fmb
Terrell - 9 carries, 41 yards, 1 td, 0 fmb

Holliday - 1 catch, 2 yards
Spearman - 2 catches, 14 yards

Spearman - 2 kr, 48 yards

Don Terrell scored a touchdown for the third game in a row in a huge 20-13 win over Sacramento (8-8 )that vaulted Long Beach into the playoffs.

Alan Spearman and Hartford capped a brilliant 15-1 regular season with a 24-3 blowout win over Atlantic City (2-14).

Drew Holliday didn't get much time in a meaningless loss to Honolulu (12-4).

The only one of of four backs that is now done for the year is the Polish Express, Burt Liszkiewicz. He had a nice game against a tough Anchorage (12-4) team. He rushed for 92 yards and caught a td pass, but Seattle's 31-21 win ended up not being enough to get them in. This is the second year in a row that Seattle has missed the playoffs on a tiebreaker.

Season comparison:
[b883aec7]Rushing:[/b883aec7]
Liszkiewicz - 236 carries, 907 yards, 6 tds, 5 fmbs
Holliday - 325 carries, 1338 yards, 10 tds, 5 fmbs
Spearman - 312 carries, 1255 yards, 11 tds, 8 fmbs
Terrell - 103 carries, 410 yards, 4 tds, 2 fmbs
[b883aec7]Recieving:[/b883aec7]
Liszkiewicz - 19 catch, 184 yards, 3 tds, 4 drops
Holliday - 19 catch, 117 yards, 0 tds, 0 drops
Spearman - 37 catches, 397 yards, 1 td, 3 drops
Terrell - 10 catches, 66 yards, 1 td, 0 drops
[b883aec7]Returns:[/b883aec7]
Liszkiewicz - 7 pr, 57 yards, 29 kr, 726 yards, 1 td
Holliday - 1 pr, 6 yards
Spearman - 7 kr, 157 yards
Terrell - 0

Holliday and Spearman both had great seasons and look like they could be HOF guys considering how well they are performing in their first and second seasons, respectively. Terrell was solid off the bench, and Liszkiewicz was effective when he did get the ball on top of being a good returner. The future still looks bright for all four. We'll see what happens.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I actually had a lot of fun doing it, especially since my team sucked so much this year.
