Welcome to another season of FFF rankings, the rankings you love to hate!
In our 3rd season of rankings for the CFL, we introduce yet another stat category in our rankings, as the turnover margin (as shown in game in the team summary screen) is introduced in the formula with a .5 coefficient. With the feedback of now 4 seasons of rankings (2 each in the CFL and HFL), the overall formula has been yet again slighly tweaked to what I believe is satisfactory and now looks like this:
rating=E2*5-F2*5-(G2-16.5)*0.75-(H2-16.5)*0.75+I2*0.5+0.5*K2+(L2-L$36)*0.25+AVERAGE(AI3:BN3)
In our first rankings of the season, [b0c47a63]Hartford [/b0c47a63]finds itself in the #1 spot, a position they also held in last season's opening rankings (then in week 2).
Hartford takes the lead over [b0c47a63]Tucson[/b0c47a63], another 3-0 team, for just a 0.11 points, so everything is still open in the race for #1!
At the other end of the spectrum, [b0c47a63]Arizona [/b0c47a63]opens this season in last place, a position they also held at the end of last season. In fact, they have now been ranked #32 for 9 consecutive weeks over the course of 2 seasons.
And now, the moment you've all been waiting for, here are your rankings!
