I can't see what picks and how many i have for 2998. Do I have to wait until the end of the season? Is there a way Taco can view them and tell me what i have? Thanks.

You can see them on the "View Draft Order" screen, except that the order shown is from the 2007 draft. However, the picks are from the 2008 draft.

From scanning the list it looks like you hold these picks in the 2008 draft:
2nd round (ACI)
2nd round (ALB)
3rd round (MEM)
3rd round (LBE)
3rd round (ANC)
4th round (SAO)
4th round (NYK)
5th round (NYK)
5th round (LBE)
6th round (NYK)
7th round (NYK)

Do you guys think we'll ever make it that far?

I think we're averaging a season every 4 real life months. At that rate, we'll reach 2998 in...mmm, 330 years!!!

My great grand-childs will probably own the team by then... :D

And they'll be using FOF2995, now with "Smell-o-vision!"

"Pew! We're playing Las Vegas again! Smells like cigarettes and bad feet!"

Great! Thanks.

The idea, for me, was to aquire as many picks in the later rounds as I could over the next couple years. My star players all have contacts ending or will be old by then. I'll need a base to rebuild on. Thinking that I would probably make the playoffs last year, this year, and maybe next year and will have a very low 1st round pick, I had no problem trading them away knowing that I was adding lower round picks. The 2010 season will start the new Knights era, most of my current established stars will have moved on or retired, hopefully giving me cap space. With a stadium renovation scheduled for 2011, I will hopefully get more revenue that season. In 2012 I should be ready for the playoffs again with cap space for free agents, increased revenue and a solid foundation of drafted players. Thats the plan anyway.

Wait a minute, we've been working on our image...it should smell like mediocrity and cheap hookers!
