I'm sorry if I misses a discussion on this topic already, but...

When will a draft utility be made available?

I have been meaning to ask as well. The schedule only shows 3 days for the draft, I am assuming this is a flexible schedule? Or are we really that optimisitic?

It looks like the draft is scheduled for the 23rd - 30th.

Yes, I'm working to get the same draft utility set up that we used last year. I'll let you know once it is ready.

I estimated the schedule based on how long the draft took last season. If it takes longer then I will readjust the schedule.

what is the draft utility that we're using? is it a variation of VPI's utility or something you cooked up yourself? I came in right after the draft last season so i wasnt here. :)

It was VPI's utility. I was away during the draft myself and didn't personally use it, but it sounded like it worked great.

The utility last year worked great!

Thanks for your hard work getting it working again this year.

Love the offseason...<drool>

Chris . . . we all know you're doing your best, dude. If it gets done in the time tentatively scheduled, cool. If it don't, life goes on. Thanks for the work, regardless.

And thanks, VPI (if you're still reading), for allowing us to use it. :)

It'll be up soon...Here are some of the changes since the last CFL draft.

[img2ce818d]http://www.fof-ihof.com/upload/VPI97/draftapp.png[/img2ce818d]

- Best Position Available: select the best available player in the draft class by Bureau Rating

- Up & Down: Move players in your preference list one spot up or down

- Don't pick the same position in consecutive rounds - Will skip over players of the same position as your last pick. Useful for back to back picks

ditto.

I should also probably thank you for not acquiring Lofton until after you played the Lions. It might have been our only win this year.

Please...you play us in Week 8. Guaranteed win for the Lions.

The game to watch is in Week 9, though. Cowboys vs Bungles...the battle for the top lottery seed.
