I did a breakdown of the current state of teams' finances after the first round of late free agency: finances.htm At least four teams are in deep trouble, and will need cuts to field a team of 53 players. I've calculated the minimum required cost with $240K for a rookie FA as the base. |

Dola: Though James Cooper said hi. He appreciated you offering more money, but just thought he'd be happier in Fargo. |

I agree why would anybody in their right mind want to play in either of those two towns? |

[quote6425e82="jdnoyes"]I agree why would anybody in their right mind want to play in either of those two towns?[/quote6425e82] Fargo bashing is becoming pretty cliche nowadays around here and FOFC. I was born and raised there. Spent around 20 years there and will be moving back there in August. There isn't another place I would have rather grown up. I couldn't give a flying fuck about what any of you or The Afoci think of the place, especially since most of you have never even been there. |

Aye, don't take things so seriously. It's my duty as a Minnesotan to make comments like that about Fargo. |

Is that why nearly everyone I offered under markey value came to Hawaii? Not to mention the higher price of living here? I basically got everyone to play for a minimum. |

It's just that I'm damn proud of where I came from (and had a pretty shitty day yesterday). The Afoci would have to admit that it's atleast a couple of notches more entertaining than Hawley, MN. ![]() |
