Wow. My offense continues to be just decent, but my defense has been great. We shut out Arizona 23-0, and outgained them 407-165. I can only imagine what it'll be like when we're healthy.

we grinded out a win over Las Vegas, 14-11. My rookie QB was OK, but Rounds helped us have nearly 40 minutes of possession time. And I think QBs should watch out for my safety Chris Jones. He plays at CB this year, and has 5 interceptions the past 2 games.

Shannon struggled, but McKnight bailed him out... the defense also played VERY solid... we finally get a win, but it may be one of a very few this season...

It might have helped my cause to get the export in, especially after experimenting with the game plan last week.

Nice job, Fonzie. Congrats on the win. Statistically, I was suprised at how even we were, considering the final...that is, until I looked at where Seattle turned the ball over...three times, all inside of our own 30. Nice work, boys.

It's a sad day when you rush for 199 yards and lose the time of possession battle by nearly eight minutes.

We'll never beat Boise playing like this...

We almost got Shreveported, by Shreveport no less... if not for a VERY untimely (for Shreveport, that is) holding penalty. If you saw the game, you know what I mean. In the end, it was Shreveport who got Shreveported after all...

A nice game by our second year QB Clarence Lincoln. He made some key throws and engineered a TD drive in the final 2 minutes to take a win against Fargo.

Dammit, I have to think we would have beat Long Beach if my defense was healthy. We had three offensive starters who didn't play yet still lost on the last play of the game...

Dustin Hayes is looking good this year. Hopefully he can keep it up and Terrell Keith can start finding some holes to run through.

Charles Lindberg must have taken offense to all those bad things I said about him not catching a TD...I think I'll keep him around for a little while now :)

And all was right with the world.

Yes I saw that penalty. If Jim would just name the players who have penalties against them, that boy would be cut!

Thanks Aylmar. I was surprised as hell to win this game, much less win it by 20 points. I was expecting quite the opposite result, considering your offensive weaponry. Fortunately for us we managed to jump on a few turnovers (which is quite a change for us). Liskiewicz still managed to do quite a number on us though.

The win was bittersweet, however, as we lost CB Keven Biggs for 8 weeks with a dislocated shoulder. That's not good, considering we play at Honolulu next week. :(

Got beat by a very strong Monitors squad.

We won the yardage battle (430 vs 278) but lost on turnovers (-3) and field position.

Basically, we dug ourselves in a hole very early with 2 holding calls on the first 2 kickoffs, making us start from deep in our own half. We couldn't move and Charleston capitalized quickly, jumping to a 14-0 lead.

After that, Mathias marched us up the field, but threw 3 interceptions, which basically cost us the game...

Cassidy, in his return game to Detroit with his new team of Charleston, had a pretty good day, 5 tackles, 1 QB hurry and 3 passes blocked.

The Monitors will go far this season, mark my words!

Oh, and Bidwell, even though we only held him to 4 catches for 31 yds, caught a TD again! :D

The Flats are starting to be more frustrating than the real-life Lions, if that is possible.

Finally the offense looks decent, and special teams fumbles the ball three times. I hate to say it this early in the season, but next weeks game against San Antonio is a must win.

How dominant was the Boise defense?

Arizona actually entered Boise territory 2 times, one of which happened with 26 seconds to play. They ran a total of 6 plays on the Boise side of the 50 for -5 yards including 3 incomplete passes, a sack and a punt. Their deepest penetration was the 39.

Arizona's best drive of the day came in the last 1:51 and covered 39 yards.

It was also the best single game performance in Boise franchise history in terms of total yards allowed at 165.

He's still on pace for that 16 TD season  ... About the game, great recap of the it FFF.. Yeah turnovers were the name of the game today. Man, your offense is wicked good and D is just outstanding, again if it wasn't for the TO's we wouldn't have kept up with you... GREAT GAME FFF...

Here's an interesting stat:
Fargo's RB Elias Alvey fumbled 3 times this week, and it was his third straight multi-fumble game of the year. He already has 7 fumbles this season, which naturally leads the league (second place is 3.) He is now up to 30 for his career, which is the 6th most in the history of the league. Arthur Brady is the current career fumble leader with 35.

This is a stat that I am well aware of and it is pissing me off! He has fumbled seven times in just 3 games and has never had more than 8 in an entire season. He single handedly cost us the game against Huntington, as he fumbled on the HBE35 and it was recovered by the Capitalists. That was well within Griffith's distance for a possible tying FG. I'M SO PISSED!!! But good game goes out to Castlerock, as he was able to hang with us and pull out the win!
