As many know there is a bug in FOF2k4 that causes the lowest index team to get any free agent they want during the season. This is going to hurt those who want to pick up RFA's.

My suggestion - have a bidding process. I think this is fair to everyone, including the player.

Thoughts?

Wasn't this fixed in the "D" patch?

From solecismic.com:
"39) Free agency signings outside of the free agency period in multi-player mode should be determined by the value of the offer. Ties now go to the team closest to the player's home town."

Dola. Checked the IHOF boards and can confirm that in-season FA bids now are handled correctly in the game, IHOF did use an external bid system before, but not since February 25th.
