Wow... I expected this kind of offense all season... nice to see they saved it for the last game.

Congrats to FFF on his fourth consecutive Great Lakes title.

Wow, both of our teams finally played like they should have all season this last week. We have done well this year considering we were mediocre in most aspects and injuries might have finally caught up to us. Throughout the season in FFF's rankings we were the worst ranked team with our record most times, shows that the rankings are accurate. Congrats to FFF, he swept me this season and deserves to be in the playoffs, again.

Wow, talk about backing into the playoffs.
Hanging on to win by 1 point against Chicago in a game I had no business winning at all...

And a HUGE thank you to TLK, I wouldn't have done it without you!

Regarding the game itself, the Titone era has started in Detroit. Strangely enough, Mathias was pulled at the start of the 2nd half (he had an average day, but nothing too bad). Titone had another mediocre showing (4 for 13, 1 int)...

But it doesn't matter, right now I am shaking from the excitement of those last minutes from the Chicago game...

The good news is that we defeated rival Las Vegas in convincing fashion, 38-17 to clinch a spot in the playoffs.

I suppose some other good news can be found in this game - we didn't lose any more starters to injury. In fact, given our history this season that might count as miraculous.

The bad news is that we finished in second place, behind Honolulu, for the fourth straight year. That's frustrating, especially considering how we swept them this year [i3478d94]and[/i3478d94] outclassed them in most measurable respects (most notably PF (409-369) and PA (256-334)). Those four losses we had by 4 points or less (which I usually chalk up to bad luck) were a killer.

The other bad news is that we now must go on the road as a WC team to play a white-hot and finally-healthy Sacramento squad. Not a good draw for the first round.

Looks to be another short postseason for the Toros, but at least we made it. Given the number of injuries we've had this season that has to be considered a happy accomplishment.

I am really looking forward to this game, Fonzie. Our offense is healthy but the D is still banged up, and we lost a starter today, which isnt good. But the offense is healthy and playing great, as evidenced by Barre's 23-26 passing performance today and Rounds is finally coming around. This team has yet to win a playoff game, so hopefully it'll be a first.

I could say almost the exact same thing - I've got an offenseive lineman out, but everyone else on offense is healthy. My D however...

*shudders*

Should be a good one!

36K to see Hawaii clinch. Apparently Arizona just isn't a football state....

Congrats on the playoff Fonz!
