I have updated our Historic Games page with the following games from the 2008 regular season. Please let me know if there is a game I missed that should be added:

Week 1: Atlantic City at Boston

The Boston Panthers ran their way into the CFL record books by rushing 63 times, topping their old
record of 61 set in 2005. Leading the way was RB Toothpick Lang who had 39 rushes for 170 yards
and 2 TDs. The Panthers held the ball for over 40 minutes and won the game 20-10.

Week 3: Denver at Anchorage

The Anchorage Wolfpack were thinking revenge during their week 3 game with the defending champion
Denver Dynomite. This was a rematch of the 2007 Western Conference Championship that Denver won
23-7. But in week 3 the Wolfpack got their revenge, scoring 27 unanswered 2nd half points to win
47-17. Wolfpack quarterback Lane Manuel passed for 500 yards, trying the CFL record. Manuel also
tied the league record for TD passes in a game with 5.

Week 8: Tampa Bay at Hartford

The Hartford Attack had one of the most dominating defensive performances in the history of the
CFL as they shut out the Tampa Bay Torpedoes 34-0. Tampa Bay was held to a CFL record low of 94
total yards and 6 first downs. They also turned the ball over 4 times and rookie quarterback
Nolan Shannon was sacked 5 times.

Week 9: Hartford at Atlantic City

The Hartford Attack (7-0) came into Atlantic City (2-5) as heavy favorites despite starting
backup quarterback Don Martinez. Martinez threw an interception in the final minute to give the
Phantoms an upset victory by a score of 20-17. These two teams met again in week 15 and Atlantic
City again came out on top, 13-3.

Week 16: Memphis at Fargo

The Fargo Boxcars rolled to a 37-17 victory over the Memphis Express, and the star of the day was
RB Elias Alvey. Alvey continued his TD streak, scoring 3 times and moved his 6 game total up to
14 touchdowns. Alvey's 17 rushing touchdowns on the year tied the CFL record.

Week 17: Chicago at Detroit

Chicago RB Arthur Brady needed 70 yards to reach 2,000 rushing yards on the season. He broke the
mark before halftime and finished the year with 2,056 rushing yards, a new CFL record. His 522
carries also set a new single season record.
