This isn't IHOF. This is the CFL and we shouldn't care what IHOF does.
[/quotecb303b7]

Then we should have a speedy draft so comparisons don't need to be made.

I don't really care that much. And I don't know an IHOF from a mole hair, but I was stuck and home this weekend and hoping I could get into the second round so I could pick up a fellow that was taken pretty much where I predicted he'd be. And I would have payed more than a 2.25 and a 2012 3rd round pick. But I was AFK for most of the day and will be tomorrow. So, I don't get the guy I want but so what?

Every great thing usually has flaws. If a slow draft is the only thing I don't like about the CFL, we're in pretty damn good shape here. Who says the draft has to be fun or entertaining? It certainly doesn't and obviously the league is just darn fine. So.... I'm shutting up about it now. :)

Who were you after?

BTW, I noticed that Huntington Beach selected a WR after I picked Aviles at 2.15. I can only hope that I took the guy they really wanted.

Not tellin! And paying more than you did would have been marginally frivolous but sometimes you just get this stupid thing stuck in your head for a guy you think will work perfectly in your system. It all worked out for the best. And I was homebound and cranky and impatient. And I had family here so I couldn't just smoke butts and surf porn and watch the usual garbage I watch on TV. Cranky Puck. I'm fine now. I think.

The draft was stocked with better QB's last year, which is making this year's QB's slide, methinks.

Yeah, he looks to be a "mad bomber" type of QB. Lots of long TDs, but also lots of interceptions, sacks, and fumbles.

Of course, given SkyDog's magical gameplan he'll probably post a QB Rating of 110.0 every year for 15 years. ;)

That would be a more convincing argument if some of us didn't already know how you ran your team for the first few years in the IHOF. :P

Cool. I just know that we've had some user error in the past where they had assumed that they could just turn the app on when it was their turn to pick.

Oh, good pick by the way. :D

72. NOS - SLB Matthew Willis
73. ANC - QB Steven Weisz

God damn you, New Orleans.
God damn you to fucking hell. :)

The player I want lasts until the pick before me and he gets snatched up.

I hope he busts you fucker. :)

I was glad that DE Earp lasted until the end of the first round. Earp, along with my second round pick, DT Shapiro, provide some much needed youth to my very good, but very old, defensive line.

I'm here, and will be making my pick in the next half hour or so. Sorry for the delay, but an emergency cause me to have to go in to work early today. I had intended to set the utility before I left, but didn't have time to do so when I saw my morning e-mails.

It's the Meatholes Mindreading technique. We new you wanted him but now he is ours. Actually he was the top guy on my list since my last pick, and I was suprised he lasted that long.

I decided to gamble on Bucky Ferraro, the low-rated QB with the insane combine numbers. I figure most people were planning on taking a shot on him later on in the draft, but I'm a sucker for great combine performances.

I thought my picking a punter at 3.28 would precipitate the drafting of the other 2 similarly above average guys...

I guess I was wrong and I could have waited till the 4th round... :(

That was you? For some reason I thought that it was Albany. I reserve that 'kind' of crazy for thater.
