I was curious to know how many GM's coach youth sports (or any level for that matter)?

If so, what sports do you coach?

Way back in the day, I coached little league and pony league baseball with one city championship, then when I was in the army I coached a basketball club that competed at the high school age level in Ft. Wainwright, AK, that played teams like Far North Christian H.S., Eileson AFB, Ft. Rich, Elmendorf AFB, and some of the local tribes teams. Lost only two games in three seasons with the Knights and three Post championships!

Spent a season as the assistant hitting coach for IU's Southeast Campus before transferring to Bloomington.

So, now I'm here! trying my not so obvious magic on the Tigers. . .

My kids are just starting to get into the age where they can be in sports. Likely I'll coach some sport they'll be in.

I coach softball and basketball.

For some reason, I've never jumped into coaching youth football. Would love to do it but as of right now fall is the only time when I'm not coaching anything. :)

Baseball and Football with a neighbor of mine named Turf Toe.

Baseball is fun, but Jr Tackle Football really rocks.

i have an 11 y/o son (6th grade) and an 8 y/o girl (3rd grade) and a 2 y/o girl.

i coached the boys basketball a season or two, coach my son (about 3 yrs) in baseball and my daughter in softball starting at 5 and still going. For the most part the girls team is unchanged. its a ton of fun but a lot of work. its fun to watch them develop and grow and get better. the girls are exceptionally good.
