I have a feeling a MP college universe would just not work right for some reason...

It could work if you're setting up something like four 8-team conferences as human-controlled and the remaining 90-95 teams as computer-controlled...

I'd play just about any team, preferably one with a cool mascot (if such a thing exists).
;)

I've always been partial to Georgia, but would enjoy playing a Big Ten team also.

If someone convinced me to buy the game, I would take either U of I (Illini or Hawkeyes).

Of course, I suppose you'all could have a nice game of 'up and down the river' instead. With stats included!

"Oh hell" indeed.

Yeah, that was a particularly underwhelming announcement. Hell, Jim would've gotten the same response from me had he announced that he needed to go grocery shopping.

A card game? That's great. Just great.

What's interesting to me is the poll result on the Solecismic web site.

13 people out of 12,000 odd votes chose the card game, and yet, that is what Jim chose to develop... :smt104

Now I understand the 'support the indie developer' argument and am sure more than 13 people will buy the game (I honestly don't know what [i77431e7]I[/i77431e7]'ll be doing yet), but it would also be nice if said developer listened to his customer base a little bit more...

VPI and Ben posted on FOFC about this - to summarize, it's a good move by Jim if he want to expand his customer base.
