Here is the replay of the TurfToe interview that aired last night on the local affiliate, KLAS-Channel 8, in Las Vegas. Pat Ahndebach sits down to discuss the draft, training camp, and the upcoming season and ends up on a single-tracked QB discussion. Take a listen, enjoy the ride.

Hi, this is Pat Ahndebach sitting down with the Las Vegas Rounders GM, TurfToe. TurfToe was generous enough to allow us an exclusive interview to share his thoughts on the 2016 season.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: So TurfToe, what do the Rounders have in store for their fans this season?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: Well, we've officially turned the page on offense with Jackpot finally retiring and accepting an offer to coach our QB's. While we were hoping that Roderick Palmer would be the answer, and he sure looked like it in 2015, his shoulder injury at the end of the year pretty much forced our hand in the offseason.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: So you are saying that Palmer is done? For good?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: I'm just saying that between the doctor-speak and what I saw in training camp, he is not back to his usual form. Jackpot was not very hopeful in our pre-draft meetings, which is why we made so many moves to get MoMo.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: MoMo? Who the heck is MoMo?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: [player]Morris Moore[/player]. The guys call him Moe and the fans were constantly shouting Mo' Moe all training camp. Say we now call him MoMo.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: So he's become a fan favorite?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: Let's just say that Jackpot has taken to him really well. I think his deep passing skills and 2-minute offense bears a striking resemblance to JP.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: JP? Now who are we talking about?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: Jackpot. He doesn't like that nickname much as he says those days are way behind him. He prefers JP now. He's a quarterback, he's eccentric and a freak. Whatever. All I know is the kid is a genius, he's got most of the playbook down already [editor: 15 formations known] and he's already making adjustments like JP used to do. If I didn't know any better I'd say this is the 1997 version of [player]Lenny Olsen[/player]. I think JP knew it too because he was pushing real hard for us to get the kid.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: Other than MoMo, what's the skinny on training camp?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: We got real old in some areas but we also had some real improvement in some of the young guys. I don't have the time to run through them now but I'm sure the rest of the beat writers will get the good news out for consumption.

[b096a97c]Pat[/b096a97c]: It sounds like Moore is the theme for 2016, is it safe to assume it's his team out of the gate?

[b096a97c]TT[/b096a97c]: This is the CFL Pat, ain't nothing set in stone. Moe will get the opportunity while Palmer tries to get back to 100%. After that, it's all about the left column. I'm sure Coach Herndon knows what his job is. I expect to see whoever Coach thinks offers us the best chance to win each week.
