All four men were summoned to Seattle for a private conversation with GM Aylmar. Kasey Cha seemed visibly disturbed as he strode out to his bright yellow H2. As angry as he seemed, however, he would not speak with the media.

[b8f6cbcc]Greg Rice (WR)[/b8f6cbcc] - Rice saw his production drop drastically due to injury last season, starting only eight games while hauling in twenty-eight balls for 375 yards and no touchdowns.

[b8f6cbcc]Eliseo Frank (K)[/b8f6cbcc] - Frank was a free agent pickup of the Thunderbirds in 2004. In his one season of duty with the team, he was 15 for 20 on his FG attempts. Frank went a perfect 17 for 17 on point-after attempts.

[b8f6cbcc]Kasey Cha (DE)[/b8f6cbcc] - Kasey Cha started every game at defensive end for the Thunderbirds the last two seasons. His sack numbers dropped from nine down to just seven last season, but it is whispered around the Thunderbird offices that the team didn't feel as though they'd be healthy enough cap-wise to resign him next year. 'Expendable' is a dirty word.

[b8f6cbcc]David Greco (TE)[/b8f6cbcc] - Greco started two games last season, hauling in three passes for a measly twenty-four yards. This is the kind of player that the Thunderbirds will have to sign after the draft. Why they released him now is a mystery to this reporter.

Rumors around the Thunderbirds offices are that the team is opening their roster to trade inquiries around the league. In addition, Aylmar is reportedly interested in trading down from the number one overall spot in the draft in order to acquire some additional selections. An insider is quoted as saying - "No one is sacred. No one."
