This is great- I still think it completely over values Defensive TDs though. I'd much rather have the 3 INTs, of 3 sacks than 1 INT for a TD... Although Barlow did get a few tackles as well

Although Barlow did get a few tackles as well[/quote23bef8f]Idano, to really analyze it I'd want to know the outcome of the INT drives and where on the field they were - but on the surface I think a TD is probably more valuable than 2 more INT's.

Tucson had a couple of picks and a couple of sacks in the game but the 95-yard INT for a TD was a 14-point swing in the first half where we were controlling both sides of the ball. By itself, it was more significant than the other stats combined IMHO. I'd take the 95 yard pick-6 over any stats [int's or sacks] any day.

It's the 2006 Chicago Bear defensive philosophy. Bend-but-don't-break, nothing statistically fancy, with points coming from defense and special teams. It's almost enough to win a championship. Add a QB and you just might win it all.
