Well I know it is still a little early, but just wanted to post a heads up that with the hurricane bearing down on my house [img084fcc8]http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x275 ... tled-6.jpg[/img084fcc8] I will most likely be heading somewhere, may or may not have Internet access and will miss some of the files, but should be back in time for Staff Hiring stage 1. |

Good luck and take care. I'm starting to get very uneasy about this one - the latest models seem to have moved slightly east towards Grand Isle and then turning a bit to the west right after landfall. This path would ensure that it got both New Orleans and Doug's house. |

Just a heads up, I'm not actually heading that far away from the storm- but getting to a very well built house that is on some higher ground (as much as we have around here) [imgad4bcf9]http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x275 ... tled-7.jpg[/imgad4bcf9] Looks like we will be right on the west side of the eye. I'm not worried about safety, we will be fine. But I will undoubtedly be without power for a few days, a week would not surprise me. As part of my hurricane preparedness- if I am not around for the franchise / summer league stage, can someone make sure Bob Brandon gets the tag from me, if he retires then oh well, I won't use it. Mark Anderson to summer league play |

An update- my house survived, no massive oak tree fell on it- my shed did take a nasty branch on the top, but nothing a hammer can't fix. Power is out at my house, and my office (nice little vacation  ), so I've been hanging out at my parents house lately- I will be able to handle my roster stuff.And thanks for the well wishes guys, Louisiana got very lucky and the storm never developed into the cat 4/5 like they were predicting. |
