Game results | No spoilers

We get behind early, and can't establish the running game. Beyer can't connect on the longer passes and we lose two fumbles... it seems all too familiar.

WR [player]Barry Reeves[/player] seems to be hitting his stride with another 100 yd game and 2 TDs. Our defense completely shut down Anchorage's run game (21 yds on 14 carries) and they pass 60 times :shock: . Our pass defense still did a great job with [player]Chad Knight[/player] returning an INT for a TD and we held [player]Norm Fisk[/player] to a 61.5 QB rating.

We are just getting killed with injuries though and I'm going to have to make some decisions to change up the roster to get some healthy bodies on this team.

Our offense is really slumping - we were very lucky to beat both Honolulu and Seattle (teams with a combined record of 2-17) the past 2 weeks as we put up just 17 and 14 in those games. I'm not sure what to make of it since we hung 52 on this same Seattle defense in the opener. A win is a win, though. GG Seattle.

Kerry Wells spends most the day on his ass in the grass as we harass him, getting 6 sacks and forcing 4 fumbles on the way. We recover 3 of these, some deep in Chicago's half and we just have to punch it in.

We lose Shane Hall for the remainder of the season though, so that hurts.

Time to see what the backup QB can do... :roll:
