Whats everyone's thoughts on the games this weekend, we get to face my old nemisis Kurt Warner, I loved playing against him when he was with the Rams and they were all in the same division.

My Saints are getting healthy, if we can shake that rust off we should be good to go. I hope we get to play Cowboys in the NFCCG.

That's a big 'if'...I'm concerned about the Saints and their stumble into the post season. I hate the Cowboys and the Vikings so I hope the Cards or the Saints can go the distance.

I originally thought this was the Chargers' year but I think the Jets are the absolute worst matchup for them due to the Jets running game.

Saints - Chargers would be an awesome Super Bowl.

I think the Colts Ravens game will be a good one... a nice playoff game between the two clubs with connections to Baltimore.

I love how the media is jumping all over Baltimore ...a lot of people are picking them over the Colts. Dummies...

I think it'll be Colts/Chargers in the AFC Championship and I do think that Indy can handle the Chargers... payback ...

Manning tends to wilt in the playoffs. I wouldn't be shocked if Baltimore upsets them.

By the same token, I'm a Steelers fan. I'm hoping Lucas Oil Stadium gets nuked from orbit during the game.

Frakking Ravens. I hate them with the fire of a thousand suns.

Manning wilts? Maybe a little, but lets not forget he has a superbowl ring. I'd say colt's chargers AFC Championsip. However the only thing that would make me happy is if the Jets win it all. Then they could make the bengals look a little better. :D

As for the NFC, I see a Vikings vs. Cardinals matchup here. The Vikes haven't played great lately but they are a monster in their home dome. And I think Cards experience trumps the Saints.

Manning is 7-8 in the playoffs. Take away his Superbowl season and he's 3-8.

Let's not forget that a ring doesn't make a great QB. Trent Dilfer has a ring. So does Brad Johnson. Those 2 and Manning have the same number of SB rings.

I'm thinking the final 4 are going to be Baltimore, San Diego, Minnesota and Arizona.

Ah, you say Manning wilts in the playoffs and then you tell me the bad qb's with a ring? I think they are pretty all around solid this year and will win this week because the Ravens miss on a lot of opportunities. But I do not think they will reach the superbowl. I think it'll be a Vikings-Chargers SB.

Your original 2 points were that 1) He doesn't wilt in the playoffs much and that 2) He has a ring.

My post was just a counter to those two.

Point taken. I just think they have as good a chance as anybody for the super bowl. But I'm usually wrong so I guess I'll end up blabbering for nothing. Steelers and browns both suck.

My Jay Cutler bandwagon appears to have lost its wheels...

And an axle...

The driver slipped out in the night...

We ran over some Vikings and Lions fans a mile back...

We had to kill the horse and eat it because we have no wheels, only one axle, and an AWOL driver...

These seats are starting to get uncomfortable...

We may have to start eating each other, word has it Mike Martz is on his way to rescue us...

Shoot me now...

Please...

I can't even begin to think about this weekend's games. I can't stop ruminating about the improbable series of catastrophic (and curiously flag-free) events that ended my Packers' season on Sunday.

By improbable series of catastrophic events, are you referring to the first quarter?

I think the football gods stitched the flags into the refs' pockets because the way your Packers played early in the game was bad enough karma to prevent them from winning regardless of what unfolded down the stretch. How many times have you seen Rodgers miss a wide open Jennings deep this year? That miss was more fate and bad karma from the first quarter of that game than Rodgers lack of ability.

I wish Packers fans would be as big a man as Rodgers was after the game. Even he knew that Jennings miss was the ball game. I have more respect for the kid after hearing his post-game interview...sure makes Favre seem like a punk in comparison.

That's because Favre IS a punk. He's a self-absorbed whiny little punk and I wish he'd go away forever.

Rodgers is not only a great QB, but a class act. When GB gets a half-decent coach and O-line, they're going to be threat come playoffs every year...

Hopefully the Colts don't choke, I hate to see Baltimore win the postseason...burn in hell Modell!

I am thrilled with the Packers season overall. Going from 6-10 to 11-5 is huge and with the changes on D with Capers, it seems the Pack could be hitting their stride.

Rodgers is the QB for the next decade and is fantastic. WR corps is solid and Finley is going to be a superstar.

I'm excited for the future too, I just hoped the present would last a little bit longer.

Ted Thompson needs to do some work shoring up the tackle position (and, really, everywhere on the O-line) as well as cornerback. Some extra talent at DE/LB wouldn't hurt, and it would be nice to have a punter that didn't completely suck. Beyond that the If he can address those roster holes the Pack look to be in pretty good shape for a good long while.

Starting to get nervous about the game- not that we will lose, I know thats a possibility, just all the excitement leading up to it- the first time ever we have an NFC Champ game at home, or a shot to win one (A few years ago at Chicago I didn't have much confidence in the team).

If the Saints win Monday night I have to go get a tattoo, I have none, never really wanted to get one- but I always said if the Saints make it to the Superbowl I'm getting a fleur de lis.

If we were to lose I dont think I'll watch any sports shows until the actual superbowl, and then maybe on mute. I've been tired of the Brett Favre talk for a few years now, I remember fox running "is this his last game" like 4 years ago.

Haha as much as I love to say that, we can't complain. We still should have won that game. Rodgers is the leader of the team. And I don't see how you think McCarthy is a bad coach. Explain please.
