Post subject:  Arizona makes cuts

Despite a 22 percent increase in attendance, Arizona still ranks near the bottom in attendance. Financially the Outlaws are bleeding money and the Front Office made some moves to help free up space for the draft. Several one year players signed last season to fill out a pretty porous roster have been cut, creating a buffer in the salary cap for us to maneuver. Several reneg offers are on the table for players we need to keep, and that could help us free up more money for the draft as well.

Ticket prices were raised to help us generate some kind of revenue, although we're not going to see any big changes in that area for a while.

Players are on the trade block, and the 12th pick in the draft is on the trade block as well, as we're looking to move down in the draft and pick up another mid round pick. Money is a profound problem for the franchise...and we have to do what we can do to field a team and secure a future for the Outlaws.
