Today the newly named Tennessee Militia introduced new head coach James Hoch. Hoch spent his uneventful playing career with Tulsa and then Boston.

He comes to the Militia after having a year away from coaching. Previously he coached Huntington Beach for five years leading the team to a 50-36 record and reached the playoffs three times reaching the championship game in the 2023 season when his team fell to the Detroit Vampires.

"When I interviewed here I asked a lot of questions about where they envisioned the franchise going. The last thing you want to do is sign a contract and get stuck with an organization that isn't going to do the things you need to do to win."

"They are working to change the culture of this team. Between bringing in people who have had success to adding a lot of young talent I think this is a franchise will a lot of potential."

The team also announced a reduction in ticket prices in an effort to win back fans and introduce them to Militia Football.
