In a game that Tennessee won mostly with their stiff defense (allowed ten points) and strong running game (162 yards on 34 carriers) Morris Hamby stole the show.

<a href="http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/cc19 ... ndzone.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc19 ... ndzone.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

The thirteen year veteran from Texas A&M had four receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown and reached a milestone, over 10,000 career receiving yards.

"The records and the milestones are nice but today I'm just glad that we won the game." Hamby said after the game.

"I'm really happy for Morris and that I was part of the play that took him over the milestone. And I'm really glad we won for him, because no one likes celebrating something like this after a loss." Hamby's QB Emmanuel Cole said.

At the post game news conference Coach Hoch commented, "What Morris Hamby represents to this franchise and fan base cannot be overstated, this is a player that for the most part has been great and is a holdover from a much better time for this team. A much more competitive time for this team."

On the team's total performance he said,"We ran the ball when we wanted and our defense came up with two big turnovers for us. Hopefully we can keep this up because when your plus two in the turnover column and can run the ball 34 times that bodes well for the rest of the team."

Next week the Militia play game two of their four game road trip in Albany as they play the 0-2 Crows.

Great stuff! It's good to see [player]Morris Hamby[/player] succeeding again with his old team.
