Well I guess last week taught me about trying to pick games as I went 0-4.

New Orleans continued it's downward spiral in a loss to the Chicago Hitmen, I heard some crazy rumor about the Hitmen changing their name. Harvey Hillson's three interceptions for the Horde along with an inability to capitalize in the redzone doomed them to a 19-10 loss.

In what I picked as the Deep South game of the week the Shreveport Pride overcame five turnovers, four interceptions and one fumble, to defeat the Cleveland Flats 14-10. This feels like a game that the Pride escaped from on their ability to hold onto the ball long enough to prevent a Flats comeback as they had a time of possession advantage of over ten minutes. This was a game that Cleveland let slip through their fingers.

In Brooklyn's defeat of San Antonio another Deep South QB showed a propensity to turn the ball over as Stinger's QB threw three interceptions. All of those came in the forth quarter as San Antonio fought to get back into the game.

The Tennessee Militia played an all around solid game as they upended Atlantic City 31-16. This was a game that was won by the Tennessee defense and Tennessee's ability to run the football. This game also saw Week 13's Deep South Player of the Week, DT Ernest Armstrong, put pressure on Atlantic City 2nd string QB C.J. Santoki and return Santoki's fumble for a touchdown.

Week 14 Predictions:

Texas @ New Orleans
These two teams combined this season are 7-16-1. Texas hasn't won since week six and New Orleans hasn't won since week eight. New Orleans is due, New Orleans 12- Texas 6

Shreveport @ Santa Cruz
The only thing causing Shreveport to lose this game is if the team gets ahead of themselves thinking they have a gimmie win. Santa Cruz isn't a good team but they can sneak up and would love to play spoiler.
Shreveport 31- Santa Cruz 10

Huntington Beach @ San Antonio
San Antonio draws the short straw this week as they are the only team in the division playing a team with a winning record. San Antonio is eager to come back from last weeks loss and reestablish themselves as a wild card team as well as competing for the division crown. Huntington Beach is trying to keep pace for playoff seeding and trying to lock up a first round bye.
San Antonio 20- Huntington Beach 17

Tennessee @ Long Beach
This is Tennessee's last road game of the season, they have only been so-so on the road this season with a 4-3 record. But they may get lucky as Long Beach is 1-4 at home so far. Tennessee is playing to exercise the failure of the past. Long Beach is trying to get out of this season with some measure of self respect. Tennessee will allow Long Beach to keep the game much closer then they should.
Tennessee 17- Long Beach 14
