Week 15 featured two division games for the Deep South. Tennessee stormed out to a 23-3 lead. New Orleans rallied back with two touchdowns and with 11 minutes left to go in the game were only down by six. Tennessee locked down the win with a field goal right before the two minute warning and won 26-17.

Shreveport and San Antonio met in another classic Deep South clash. This game was a good old fashioned slobber knocker as the teams traded field goals throughout as the true difference in the game was a fumble return by San Antonio's MacKenzie for 12 yards and a touchdown.

The Deep South's Week 15 Player of the Week is Tennessee Militia QB Emmanuel Cole who was 20 of 34 for 233 yards 3 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Week 16 Preview

Santa Cruz @ Tennessee
Tennessee's home stand continues as Santa Cruz comes to town. After last week's performance I don't see Emmanuel Cole letting his team lose when one more loss could cost them the playoffs.
Tennessee 24- Santa Cruz 10

Huntington Beach @ Shreveport
At this late point in the season Shreveport has the toughest draw. They are playing a Huntington Beach team that is good and wants to win to fight for a first round bye in the playoffs. After two straight losses Shreveport has to muster all of it's gumption to win.
Huntington Beach 31- Shreveport 24

Long Beach @ New Orleans
This is a late season game that won't be watched by anyone outside of Long Beach or New Orleans, expect New Orleans to fight for their pride.
New Orleans 12- Long Beach 7

San Antonio @ Texas
Texas can be a dangerous team...but I don't expect San Antonio to let off the gas after a big win over a division foe to end a three game skid.
San Antonio 31- Texas 7

Playoff Picture:
Only New Orleans is out. Entering the final two weeks all three 8-6 teams (Shreveport, San Antonio, Tennessee) could all win the division. At this point with four teams outside of the division competing for the wild card spots along with possibly two teams from the Deep South the wild card race is a mess. After this week we will know a lot more.
